  1. Sounds like the pushrod is out of place.
  2. Cycle the key when it stops, listen if the fuel pump clicks normally. Really sounds like the fuel tank vent is plugged as already mentioned.
  3. @M61A1MECHis correct, it’s a fully hydraulic system. Try lubing the lever pivot, check the calipers, and fluid.
  4. Looks like a blast.
  5. Does that mean it sounds crappy? 🤣🤣🤣
  6. My lower legs get soaked on the RSV, I do miss the 1st Gen fixed fairing in the rain.
  7. I don’t have one either, my cassette deck is long gone anyway. Thought somebody here might want it.
  8. If you 3D print check this out. Files in link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/135373523171973/permalink/9206330209409547/?mibextid=W9rl1R
  9. I have several sets of links fresh from the powder coater $50 shipped in the U.S. Canadian shipping available. Buy em here at the VR price, higher on the other sites.
  10. After removing the final drive you can just pull the drive shaft out. It can be tricky to line it up with the u-joint going back in. There is a rubber plug on top of the housing, pull the plug and use a piece of wire to line up the u-joint.
  11. It’s that time of year again to refresh Earl’s advice, especially for the Yankees that don’t ride year round. 🤣
  12. I’m not an expert but I think I’d shy away from it. 110 is for very high compression engines, higher than needed octane can soot it up pretty quickly.
  13. Saw a new member from Hagerstown recently on a 99, that the new owner?
  14. This one is a compact 45 ton Metalpro, not top of the line but great for a small shop. Punch up to 1 1/4” through 3/8 plate, shear 8”, cut 3” angle iron and 5/8 rod. I bought it when building props, it’s punched thousands of holes and sheared all my brackets for years.
  15. IMG_5380.MOV Making a few leveling links.
  16. I’ve never gotten that kind of mileage on a rear, my last two MC rears added together made 14k. A Shinko and a Michelin. That’s when I went darkside.
  17. We never made it to Lake Cumberland, we went to Cumberland Falls and ended up staying at the lodge there and riding some cool mountain roads. Rode the Yamaha thru a little place called Yamacraw and up n over the mountain. As usual I didn’t think to take pics but here’s one where I was waiting for the barrel that I shoved the wife in to surface. Never found it. Heading home tomorrow since storms are moving in.
  18. Welcome to our circus. You’re in the right place to keep her going. I’m betting ole @skydoc_17will be along soon and maybe @cowpucwill stop in with some more of the 1st Gen gurus to drool over that beautiful machine.
  19. Trailer is loaded, we’re heading to Lake Cumberland tomorrow. Planned to leave today but the winds here following last nights tornadoes were brutal.
  20. I repaired one by cutting a strip of ABS plastic sheet and mixed acetone with ABS scraps to make a “glue” to bond it to the back. Holding great.
  21. Jealousy isn’t nice🤣🤣🤣
  22. Saw this on a FB motorcycle trailer page, though it was pretty cool.
  23. It’s in the manual that’s downloadable here. A tip for you: use a good puller on the flywheel, get it set and use a strap to tie it to the bike. When the flywheel comes loose it’ll usually launch itself. I tighten the puller down and give it a couple sharp raps with a hammer, tighten again-rap again ……. It’ll pop all at once. Some people get the puller tight and walk away until the launch.
  24. Keep it up there.
  25. Starting to feel like riding some more and needed a new front tire, got that installed today and finally replaced the front wheel bearings after having them on the shop wall a couple years. Figured out I didn’t have a drift long enough to get em out so I welded a sacrificial socket to the inner race and used a long extension and hammer it out.
