  1. Congrats, they take alittle getting use to, but the more you ride it the more you will like it. Bet it will take a day or two to wipe that smile off your face. Enjoy, Craig:clap2:
  2. I have 07 Hannigan, never needed reverse, as others have said, just watch where you park. They roll much easier then 2 wheeler and no worries about it falling over. I think 12K is a pretty good price, dont think you will do a whole lot better, if its in nice shape. Craig
  3. Yep, thats pretty much what I did, used a dremel cutoff wheel, well about 20 of them, to cut thru the tac weld on little brackets, then drilled and poprivited to new ring that came with lite. Had to cut alittle off outer fairing behind headlite chrome ring. I maintained both stock adjusters. I just tied that extra wire that lites ring to pass lamp hot after switch. Craig
  4. Sorry to hear about all this Earl, but glad they were able to fix you up. Was just thinking of you the other day and wondering how your wife was doing, now that you are not so crazy busy will give you a call. Take care, Craig
  5. Very sorry to hear of your loss. Sounds like she gave it a good fight, and helped many people over the years. Guess it was her time, hopefully they kept her comfortable in the end. All the best, Craig
  6. Sorry to hear this Scott, will keep him in our thoughts for a comfortable passing, memories and smiles will help. All the best at this difficult time, Craig
  7. Dont know if I'd want to share a seat with a HD Fatboy:bawling: Craig
  8. I have had 2 RSV's they both had a delay in the cruise kicking in, think its pretty normal on these bikes. Craig
  9. If you need a set of 07 RSV forks, I have a set, with no damage at all. Willing to part with them for a fair offer. Sorry cant help with your original question. Let me know if your interested. Thanks, Craig
  10. Think I would have bought a case at that price, whatta deal! Craig
  11. Great to hear from you Annie, and glad to hear you are back in the saddle. The cruise sounds amazing and I am sure you will have a great time. Say hi to Al for us. Take Care, Craig

    Rat Bike

Think of all the money that guy saves on chrome polish!!!!! Craig
  16. You could put leveling links on rear suspension, fairly easy to do, will help with low speed handling and will raise you up about an 1" or more. Then contact Rick Butler on the forum and tell him what you want in the seat. He will modify your pillow top and get it back to you quickly. He is a great guy to work with and would be a great place to start. If he cant help, then you mite look into harley seat. Friend and neighbor rite up the street had the Police Special with the seat you are talking about. Good Luck with whatever you decide. Craig
  17. Hadnt seen his passing, Thanks for posting. He was one of the top customizers of bikes. Built all kinds of cool bikes. Later in life produced a line of custom motorcycle acces. for the market. In any tv show I saw him in he always seemed like a great guy, no BS drama. RIP Arlen
  18. I overhauled my clutch on the 07 trike this winter, put Earls upgrade in and also swapped the "H" for an "I" basket. Have not had a chance to take it for a spin yet, but am hoping it quieted some of the whine. I know it helped when I did it on the 06. Anyone interested in an "H" basket, I will make you a good deal. Craig
  19. Look on ebay motors, always some for sale there. I have one on my RSV for years, no problem with sun. Craig
  20. The Hannigans use a Ford Tbird rear, flipped upside down. I am sure with enough thought you could come up with a gearset that would do alittle better in the bottom end. Craig
  21. Hey you always need "more power" as Tim the toolman says. My trike seems to have adequate power riding 2 up and loaded, I do tend to keep the revs up more than when I was on 2 wheels. I will stay in 3rd most of the time around town and stay in 4th up until about 60-65 mph. I wished the RSV had more power when I was on 2 wheels and still do on the trike, but in reality it has plenty of power to tour anywhere you want to go. I doubt you will be disappointed. Craig
  22. $125 Sounds fair, I would be interested in a set, put me down for a pair. Hope all goes well with your surgery and rehab, let me know when you feel well enough to start production. Take Care, Craig
  23. Very cool, years ago the Reading Air Show was a pretty big deal around here. They would get the Blue Angels in and if you climbed to one of the higher points in town you could look down on them as they flew by. Craig
  24. Hey, if the stainless is a hassle, I am sure the alum. could be polished up pretty nice. Just thought they looked pretty slick and I am sure my wife would like another option for foot position. Craig
  25. I may be interested in a set, what would you need to get for a set. Also would they come in chrome or polished stainless? Thanks, Craig
