Wider & Taller Clearview Shield Impact on MPG ?
cecdoo replied to GolfVenture's topic in Watering Hole
I have the biggest clearveiw on my 06, ride 2-up 90% of the time, I really havent noticed much of a change at all. I usually ride 5-10 mph over the speed limit and get 42-45 mpg as measured using a stock speedo. Think it would depend alot on your riding conditions, we dont have alot of mountain type riding, dont have alot of high wind, and dont have alot of roads where we can cruise at 80 all day. At 70 mph, 2-up on the Pa turnpike I can get 45mpg easily, I do it every year on the way to Dons MD. Craig -

Depends how your rip fence is fastned, if its on a rail on the front of the saw the rail will need to be raised, you are rite it will require some modification. He just asked for ideas, I just thru one out there. I agree a sliding table would also be a nice idea. I also agree will you I have never had the need to alter my saw table. Craig

I thought of that but screws would allow him to remove top to access saw arbor to change blades:think: Craig

Scrap pc of 1/4" corian screwed to the top with countersunk screws. Crank the saw blade thru the top:thumbsup: Craig
