I tried cutting one down to 8", one 2 mile trip up the bypass at 70mph was all it took to go back to my xxl clearveiw windshield. Also if you ride with a passenger, they are going to get alot more buffeting. But I have seen guys with the shorter shields and they love them. Mite want to try the BaggerShield you would have the best of both in one shield. Craig

Hi, I would split the fairing, look for all the large connectors bundled around the tape deck. Take them apart one at a time, spray contact cleaner in both ends, a small dab of dielectric grease and put them back together making sure they are tight. Think there are 4 or 5 connectors you need to do this to. Takes about an hour total and a good chance it fixes your problem. Craig

I have an exmark with the 27hp kawasaki, runs like a swiss watch, but I dont cut near as much grass as you guys. All the commercial guys around here run exmarks, that and the 3yr warr. sold me. Craig
