    Barn find

About 2.5 to 3 yrs ago I picked up a bike for a member here. Drove it home from Kansas and parked it in my garage, topped off the tank and added seafoam. Its just been sitting all this time, I recently purchased a new jump pack and just for giggles I hooked it up to the bike, It kicked rite off and spit and sputtered for about a minute and then smoothed rite out and just purred. Throttle response was great and if it was licensed and insured I would have taken it for a ride. Hope you are just as lucky!! Craig
  2. I had a Corbin on my RSV, it did not look like yours. Mine was cut much deeper, at 5'10" you would have easily flatfooted on mine. As Corbin stated it looks like seat was a custom design for someone. Craig
  3. I like it! Look forward to taking one for a spin. Craig
  4. Congrats on the new scoot, looks like a nice bike for the price. Hope you get many trouble free miles!! Craig
  5. Couldnt talk the wife into bunkin with 10 guys, she's funny that way, something about sounds and smells?? We were up that way on ride a few years ago during the rattlesnake hunt and couldnt find a room anywhere, so I figured accomadations would be tough. It is a beautiful area and I Thank You for the offer. We talked about just riding up for the day. Try it again. Craig
  6. Thankful Becky is ok, looks like it was a pretty nasty crash. Guess you guys will be car shoppin this weekend. Craig

    Gas Cans

Yep I hate them as much as you do!! Let me know how these work out. Craig
  8. Really glad you are still around to tell the story, cause after looking at your bike, it looks like a pretty nasty crash!!! Hopefully you heal up completely and quickly. Would be interested in hearing what locked up on you when you are feeling good enough to find out. Take care, Craig
  9. Put open pie plates around the house, in the inside and fill them with white Vinegar, Also spray vinegar under the house where the skunk sprayed. It will help, I just went thru it at my Moms house. Good luck, its gonna stink for awhile!! Craig
  10. Well get off the fence and into the Van, you will have a great time once you get there! Craig
  11. Happy Birthday to Grandma, 103 is amazing, I hope she enjoyed a wonderful life. All the best that she gets her birthday wish for a peaceful end... Craig
  12. Might not be a good idea to drag your feet in flip-flops... Craig
  13. I think a set of Samson Fishtails would dress that baby up:thumbsup: Craig
  14. Hey Gary, Welcome home and congrats on the new scoot! Look forward to seeing you and Leslie at a VR meet. How is MD looking for you guys? Craig
  15. My Exmark has a Kawasaki engine, starts and runs flawlessly. I think you will be happy with it. When the grass gets ahead of me, I find it faster to raise the deck for the first cut, then lower it and fly around again. It seems quicker then slowing down and taking narrower cuts, seems to do a nicer job too. Craig
  16. I dont really see why you need to change anything? I just click on the calendar link to see whats going on each month. But hey...I am old and dont like change:grandpa:
  17. Nice job, they look pretty slick! Craig
  18. Keep reminding her of all the "weight" she is losing during this cleanse:big-grin-emoticon: Craig
  19. Awesome adventure! Thanks for taking me along on the ride!!! Craig
  20. Just to clarify, I am talking about a Hannigan trike with the rake kit. I do run at 10psi and so far no problems. No more dings on top of the fender. Craig
  21. To answer question #1 in first post, make sure your forks are air'd up. I think I keep mine around 10PSI. I have 2 dimples in my fender from the lite bar mount. Hit a pothole with no air in the forks and dinged the fender. Craig
  22. Will keep Don and Patti in our thoughts, hopefully a speedy and pain free recovery. Poor guys cant seem to get a break on their RV adventures, I really wish them all the best in this set-back. Sounds like Don is getting himself a brand new dually! Hopefully Scott does not have to deal with any flooding in his house. Will keep our fingers crossed:fingers-crossed-emo Craig
  23. Carl, you had that 1st gen looking beautiful, awesome job on the polished parts!! Craig
  24. Looking forward to following your adventure Annie, hopefully our paths cross somewhere along your trip. Craig
