When I was up last it was paved about half way up then it was gravel, it is 2 ways but very narrow, you are only going at 20-25 mph so its not bad going up, coming down just keep it in 1st or 2nd gear. There are some steep dropoffs, with no guardrails if you are afraid of heights it mite be alittle hairy. Also if its 85 at the bottom it will be 30 at the top so make sure you have warm clothes with. It is pretty cool and really worth the trip, Whiteface mtn is another neat ride. take the elevator to the top. Craig

Geez and you want us to come visit you:sick: Just kidding, hopefully this will be the last of your episodes and you will start feeling better:whistling: Take care, and heal quick. Craig

Now everyone just looks for a way to cover their A$$ I cant believe your hr dept. My wife is HR manager at a local co. she would never have reacted like that, there is no excuse for her attitude, whats involved in making a copy??? simple 5 min job. Man I hope it works out for ya. I could take you on a nice ride around my area also. Let me know what ya need. Craig

Glad to hear you are both ok, one of my worst fears is someone crashing into me and seriously hurting my daughter, I am always extra careful when she is on the back. Good luck getting the bike fixed up. Craig

Beautiful day today so I played hookie and decided to go for a ride, contacted one of our members, "Pilot" from Delaware and asked if he would be interested in getting together for lunch, he said he was free, so I headed the 130 miles to our meeting point. I had originally planned on treating him to lunch at a rest. but once I got down there he insisted on taking me back to his place and he fired up the grill, we sat around and swapped the bull had a great lunch and then he rode about an hr north with me on my ride home. Jim is a great guy and his wife treated me like family, it just amazes me how friendly the people are on this site, Arent alot of places in this world where you can contact a person you never met, get together for lunch swap a few stories and feel as though you connected. Thanks again Jim for your hospitality, and thanks Don for starting this group. Geez 20 more years of this, and I could be Lowell Jr. Craig
