  5. You could sure do a nice loop of New England and Canada in that time. Lots to see in Pa. tour that area for a bit, then head west on Pa rt 6 to Erie area, up along Lake Erie to Niagra Falls, across Ny to Finger Lakes then Adirondaks and White Face, take the ferry to Burlington Vt. then across to Mt Washington area, across to Bar Harbor Maine, maybe Ferry to Nova Scotia. Temps would be cooler, you could easily do it in 300 mile days, wish I had the time to join you, mite be able to tag along for a few days. Craig
  6. Thanks for your service Clay, stay safe. Craig

  12. I totally agree, I have been a Harley share holder since 1992, I dont think Harley as a company has made any major mistakes, other than getting sucked into the subprime lending mess everyone else did. Unfortunately in the current economy they aint selling bikes like they use to. Thankfully they built up their dealerships, and are able to cash in on access. and clothing, hopefully service as well. I dont believe this has to do with price or quality, the quality has most definetly improved and folks that want Harleys will pay the price. I chose my Venture because of "Value" I like to ride alot more than I like to tinker, I wanted a dependable bike that looked pretty cool, the price was rite and the 5yr warranty is a big selling point for me, also helps if my feet touch the ground:rotf:Ride whatya like, I hope Harley weathers this mess and survives another 100 years. Craig
  13. I have total electric home in a northern climate, we have the heat pump set-up, I believe a properly installed heat pump with back-up propane would be a pretty eff. set-up. One thing to watch out for, electric has been pretty stable cost wise for a long time, in Pa. they are talking about BIG increases in elec. in the next few years. We have been in our home for 23 yrs. we are on elec. budget pay same amt every month $175-200 a month, hasnt changed much over the years. Craig
  14. Jeez if you need all that to do your taxes you must have way too much money:smile5: Craig
  15. Pond Monsters untie:scared: damn dislexia.... Craig
  16. Thanks Ruffy, great pics, its nice to see Blue skies and salt free roads, C'mon spring:bowdown: Craig
  17. We are total elec. with a heat pump, when the heat pump cant keep up we use an air tite insert in our fireplace, works great, cant beat a wood burning fire. If you have alot of trees on your land I would look at a wood burner, wood heats twice, when your cutting it up and when you burn it:rotfl: Craig
  18. So is it alot smoother for your wife? Hope it works out for her. Craig
  19. Congrats Hope, great job!! and I can sure see why you are proud Charlie. Craig
  20. If you need to spend an hour on it, the Bars up north are too far apart:banana: I like it. Craig
  21. We did the Disney Magic about 5 years ago it was great, I think the cost of an RV would be outasite? I would go more towards Nov. need to watch for hurricane season. Its still warm in Nov. Planning the trip is half the fun get your son involved. WE have been to Disney many times, be glad to help with any questions you have. I say go for it. Craig
  22. Looks like a good time, sorry we missed it, still de-icing:bawling:Craig
  23. She sure is a cutie, and really looks like a happy baby, guess you are having a ball with her!! Craig
  24. If its in nice shape and well maintained I would think thats a pretty good deal. You still have alot of warranty left. Guess it would also depend on the kind of miles you will put on. If you only ride about 10k a year that bike will last you a long time. Hard to beat all that bike for 9k. Good luck, Craig
  25. Thanks for your help, you too Mainiac. Craig
