    Its pretty cool no matter what kind of bike its on, I wonder how many accidents he was involved in? How many blown tires etc. his safety record would be interesting. Looks like he does some serious riding 11 1k rides in a row. Craig

    I was wondering the same thing? I have progressive and looked over my policy, I have Roadside Assistance but it doesnt mention anything about hotels and food? It sounds as tho this adjuster didnt handle things very well. Last year in Asheville I had alittle smash, I cant say enough about the way progressive handled it, I was concerned about it being an out of state nitemare, but the adjuster I dealt with was great. Sorry Goose and his Brother didnt have the same experience. Craig

    Just thinking, my bikes are always parked in a dry garage, wonder if where they are parked or stored has anything to do with it?

    I have avons on my suzuki and rsv, suzuki set is 3 years old no cracks front or rear, rsv set has 12k on them no cracks front or rear. Must be a bad batch or something?? Craig

    It would be my opinion that these cos would put that disclaimer on to cover their a?>s in the event someone sprayed the whole tire tread and all and then had a hard time stopping on a steel plate. I carefully wipe a tire shine product on my tires every time I clean up my bike, careful not to get any on the rim or the tread. I have been doing this forever. Actually when I first started doing this they didnt even have products specifically for tires we used floor polish. I can say I have never had a problem doing this and see no reason to stop. If you dont want to do it, by all means Dont! but done carefully its no big deal. Craig

    EnerSys corp. office is in Reading Pa, I dont think they build the batteries here though unless Deka or Exide makes them and puts the Odessey brand name on them? I really dont know. If yours says MO. I would guess it was made in Mo. The blems are cosmetic, I think mostly scraped casings. The plant is about 25 miles from me, usually when I need a battery I am in a hurry and go to a local supplier. Craig

    I have one on mine, no issues but I have stock risers. Shines up great with honda polish no scratches, I like it, but then I like chrome:big-grin-emoticon: Craig

    They have an outlet store at the plant where they will sell "Blems" to the locals, but I believe you have to go thru a distributor for a new one. Funny thing the headquarters for the Odessey battery is also located in our area, quite a few battery places around here, guess thats why our cancer rates are so high:confused24: Craig

    Deka is a few miles from me, they have been around for a long time and are a highly rated employer and company, I think you will be happy with their product. Craig

    Sounds like a pretty good price, where else are you gonna get a used bike, with all the comfort and features with a full warranty till 2012 for 11grand? Go for it!! Craig
