I have a similar grill to the one you pointed out on ebay, sheet of decorative chrome. I guess I bought it for both looks and protection. Never had a problem with bike overheating, and I never punctured the radiator with my front fender, never even knew you could? Must have been one helluva pothole. I was more worried about a large stone doing some damage. Craig

I had about 40K miles on my Corbin seat. The person I sold the bike to is still using the same Corbin seat its been about 2 years. They do make a very nice seat, the quality is very good. That being said, you either love it or hate it, very few people in the middle on Corbins seats. I always got a kick out of their advertising that says it takes xxxmiles for seat to conform to your butt, I believe it takes that long for your butt to conform to their seat! It does take some time to judge and get use to their seat and I hope you are one of the guys that "love" it. I think I will call BS on not letting anyone else ride on that seat, I let lots of people sit on and ride my 06 and I never noticed anything different. I was also in the I "love" it camp with Corbin, did about 900 miles one day and could have easily gone another 100 for the Iron Butt. Hope ya like it, Craig

I have the tallest widest clearveiw with vent, I look thru shield but wife gets very little buffeting. I have the shield for at least 6yrs, my vent works fine. Stays open when I open it and closed when I close it. The only time I wish I could look over my shield is in the pouring rain. Good luck, Craig

If you decide to drain everything while in storage, I would suggest you fog everything with a good marine fogging spray. Pull the plugs and fog cylinders and everything else inside and outside. Very humid enviro. things are gonna want to rust. Craig

On all the bikes I have owned, the brake lites work when the bike is sitting still and the brakes are applied. Thats how they inspect them here in Pa. Should lite when front or rear brakes are applied. Mite want to check the fuses. Craig
