  1. If you decide to drain everything while in storage, I would suggest you fog everything with a good marine fogging spray. Pull the plugs and fog cylinders and everything else inside and outside. Very humid enviro. things are gonna want to rust. Craig

  8. On all the bikes I have owned, the brake lites work when the bike is sitting still and the brakes are applied. Thats how they inspect them here in Pa. Should lite when front or rear brakes are applied. Mite want to check the fuses. Craig

  18. Beautiful pics keep them coming! Thanks for taking us along on your ride, it feels great. We have snow falling heavy rite now, so I have the best of both worlds look outside to a beautiful snow scene or check the computer for a great ride thru the desert on a sunny day with beautiful blue skies. Thanks Craig
  19. Beautiful Bike, enjoyed reading your initial thoughts. The main thing every new owner seems to stress is the smooth power rite off the line. I really want to take one for a test ride and feel that for myself. Thought I was done buying motocycles, but maybe not... Craig
  20. Bike looks beautiful Jonas, a lot of "buttering up" in your opening explaination. I guess I know what that means:big-grin-emoticon: Craig
  21. Very sorry for your loss, hopefully you get some answers and if not, try to remember the good times. All the best to you and your family at this difficult time. Take Care, Craig
  22. When I tried the 130 it just seemed too light at highway speeds 70mph. Didnt want to hold a line. It was alot nicer at slow speed handling tho. I went back to 150 since I spend alot more time at 60-70 mph then I do in a parking lot. Alot of different opinions on 130/150 glad your enjoying the switch. At 6'7" 285 you could probably plant your feet pick bike straight up by bars and spin a 180 in one lane:thumbsup2: Craig
  23. Yea that sux, I was hoping you had a nice clean fix. Hopefully the next section goes alittle easier and takes care of the problem. Mite want to take a steel rod and try busting up the clog while flushing pipe out with a hose. Stop if the water in the room gets up to your knees:crying: Craig
  24. I am still an Avon fan and the new Cobra seems great. Never had one crack or split and I have been running them for years on 2 bikes. I always got pretty good mileage out of them too. Dont know how they compare on price though. I am sure all tires recommended are good, we have alot of tar snakes around here and I am always looking for how the tires handle the snakes. Craig
