I think my rear shock has failed

Mine went at about 24K, I rode it for 2K before I had it replaced, it does handle alot better with the new shock, but I wouldnt loose any sleep over riding on a bad one for awhile. Craig -

My 06 is alot noisier than my 87 ever was, I have the biggest clearview also, ya get use to it after awhile, but I do miss that quiet 87. Craig

I have ridden up on a bike quite a few times, just take it easy and you wont have any problems. The Kangamungus Byway is a nice ride, all the roads in that area are nice, Lake Placid/Whiteface is a neat area and there is a paved service road to the top (almost) Wish I could tag along:080402gudl_prv: Craig

Me and Kim and the bike loaded, I have no trouble getting 45 mpg at an indicated 70mph, maybe its those loud pipes of yours they are blowing the gas straight out the back:big-grin-emoticon: Craig
