  6. My 85 suzuki has spoked wheels, never been adjusted and seem fine, if you keep after them they are not too hard to maintain, they do look great when shined up. They need a tube where as the mags dont, I am sure the mags are a more solid wheel all one pc, no adjustments. Craig
  7. Not to hijack, and Mt Washington is an awesome place, another great spot is the ride up Whiteface in Lake Placid, its paved all the way to the top and the veiws are awesome. Craig
  8. Yep you get Larrys adapter with the legs and one of those seats with wheels at Sams and you can do all kinds of work on your bike.

  11. Steering head loose? Years ago I did a trip up Mt Washington during bike week on my Suzuki, by the time I got home the steering head was so loose it was clunking, way too much play. Its a place to start. Sure is beautiful up there aint it? Craig

We had a beautiful weekend in New England, weather and roads were awesome, unfortunately everyone else in New England had the same idea, Saratoga Springs was booked solid for horse races and shows, Lake George was jamb packed, Lake Placid was full as well. My $100 a nite plan was a pipe dream. We did have a blast and visited some great little towns, we worked our way down thru Vt, Mass, and Ct on rt 7. If anyone is going up that way I would highly recommend rt 7 for lodging and dining, lots of neat places to stay and eat. We wanted to spend some time in Hyde Park on sun. but the weather turned bad so we headed home on the highways. The bike ran flawlessly, and we were on some long lonely back roads, Thanks for all the input. Craig
