  1. I don't think we are doing anything that weekend, if you like we could meet up. Like Gary has said the casino is close to all the major hotels even the casino has very nice rooms and very good restaurants. We have other really nice restaurants, any kind of cuisine you may like, Chinese, Lebanese, Thai and if you like steaks, The Keg...again right on the water front....If Gunkylump and Gary are free we can sort something out. Ian PS if you like to call, my # is in the profile.
  2. We hope for nothing but good news Don, all our best wishes to you and Eileen. Ian & Pat
  3. Sounds like you had a good turn out for a very worthy cause, our Ride for Dad is the 30th of this month and we are expecting around 1000 bikes. It is something that I can empathize with seeing as I have had my prostate removed 6 mths ago after being diagnosed with cancer. I would strongly advise all men 50 and over to go and have the PSA blood test done, even earlier if it runs in the family, it can be treated if caught earliy enough. Don't put it off guys. Ian PS. Bikers may get a bad name sometimes but I am very proud that the vast majority of us ride for many many different causes, be it PGR, BACCA, Memorial day and so on. God bless you all.
  4. I could always use a new one. Ian

  8. I looked in the manual and it says to remove the left rear cylinder side cover (fin) and its down to the right. Hope this helps. Ian PS I took a look at my bike, you can see a square rubber grommet below the fin . its under there
  9. What maybe a silly Question, but can we not just connect a hose to the bleeder, run it into a container with fluid in it, then just slowly pump the clutch lever and refill the reservoir as it goes down? Even if having to lock the bleeder after each stoke.
  10. There will be a couple of us leaving Windsor on Fri so if you have an idea of which way you are going we could meet up, last yr we met up with Carbon 1 around Monroe. Let us know. Ian

  20. My Ins is through Riders Plus, I pay $776 for full coverage with $1000 deductable. Because I belong to the GWRRA there was a further discount + age + experiance. It only went up $1 from the previous year, so I'm quite happy with it. Ian
  21. Thank you guys for all the advice and sugestions, I'll have to get something sorted out soon, the difference between the Works shock and the OEM from Buckeye is about $100 so not a big problem. Thanks again Ian
  22. Looks like you got one hell of a deal. PS, I heard that there is a APB out on you for grand theft trailer...lol Ian
  23. I have to replace the rear shock on my bike and would like some advice about what to replace it with. I have spoken to Buckeye performance and was quoted $665 delivered to a Detroit address...$691 to Ontario....for the Works Performance shock and $585+ tax for the OEM here in Ontario. Which would be the best option? And is Buckeye's price comparable with any other dealer. I trust any advice you may have. Thank you Ian
