  5. 7 Maybe I should have clarified a little, by no weapons I was meaning fire arms, I carry a folding pocket knife that has about a 3" blade and no problems. It seems like you have quite a collection of knives, I'm not sure how that would go down, maybe someone else could chirp in on that one. Ian
  6. As Bongo said absolutely NO Weapons you will go to jail, your allowed a bottle of booze each and I think a carton of cigarettes, you will almost always find our border personel very polite...thats from my own experiences....Hope you have a great trip. Ian
  7. Joe, We normally meet at exit 15 off I75, we have breakfast at Denny's then head down 75 toward Toledo, then take OH 2, continue on OH 2 E toward the lake and on down to US 6 E, and back on OH 2 E. Its a nice run that stays away from the turn pike. TJ lead us down last year and I'm sure he'd do it again, we will arrange a time thats good for everyone later. Ian

  13. Sorry to hear the news Don, I know it hits like you've been kicked in the gut, when I found out I thought he was talking to someone else until it seeps in. I had mine removed Nov of 09, I was given various options, Brachetherapy...radioactive seeding...Laproscopic and Cryotherapy....freezing...I researched on line and found out about the Da Vinchi robotic assisted surgery and this is what I opted for, its less invasive, nerve sparing and quick recovery time. I now belong to the Prostate support group in Windsor where we talk to guys that have been newly diagnosed, and help them understand their options and also give them support, as all of us have been where they are going. It does help to talk about it and know your not alone. If you do need to talk my # is in my profile, or PM me. Ian

  20. Well apart from riding the bike as soon as the snow is gone, I'm still....after 27yrs.... coaching minor hockey, I get satisfaction from seeing some of the kids that I coached move on to the higher levels or hearing that they got scholarships to various colleges and Universities. Then years later bump into them and they say "Hi coach" and I think, who the hell are you! When it dawns on me they were any where from 12 to 17 the last time I saw them, it gives me a good feeling when they say how much fun they had during those minor days and that some of them have started coaching hockey themselves. Ian ps (Randy) Gunk, you can come over and shovel my driveway any time buddy.
