word of warning "Integrity" cycles Columbus Ohio
ibents replied to mikentinamidnight's topic in Watering Hole
Wow Mike, you seem to have a whole load of trouble there, I guess some dealers have no INTEGRITY. Like James said, you should contact the BBB, they may have some pull. You could also threaten them with a lawyer. Good luck anyway. Ian -
Best of luck tomorrow Gary, from what I've read on Web MD, the health benifits of this type of surgery are tremendous. So here's wishing you a speedy recovery. Ian

I would also like to add my wish for a speedy recovery Chris, like the the other posts have said, bikes can be soon repaired. Bodies take a little longer. Get well soon. Ian

Sears Motorcycle/ATV Jack
ibents replied to dlhoulton's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Silver T. I have one of the Cdn Tire jacks...looks like the Sears red one....that I bought at the end of 07. This year I've had trouble with the hyd jack, got the bike up so far...not to the limit...and it quit pumping, like it was out of fluid, I messed around with it but it still won't pump. Once I get the bike off it I'll see about removing the jack and getting it checked out. Ian- 26 replies

Welcome Al, As was already mentioned, you don't have to be crazy to come to this site but it sure does help, you'll find that it becomes quite addictive. So jump in with both feet and have some fun. Don't let the 1st Geners give you any b-s about how much better or faster their bikes are, its just a rumor. Ian

I was thinking of a carb sync. Also the ign bypass. (would we need to bring wire and switch, or can it be bought down there?) And I don't know whats involved with tightening the steering head. Ian

Thats great, if she has never been on a bike before it can be a bit intimidating being wide open, but get her a few rides in and she'll be a real biker babe. Ride safe and ENJOY. Ian

Just been watching Yahoo news about the fires in Victoria, over 100 died already, with many still missing. The devastation is tragic with whole towns wiped out, it seems that they believe some of the fires were deliberately set. My heart goes out to those who have lost everything and prayers to those who have lost loved ones. Spear glad to hear your daughter is safe. Ian

Hey Chris Welcome back, glad to see you have your priorities in order, we have to remember that family always comes first and sometimes we have to back off getting carried away with our hobbies or passions for riding if it interferes with home life. Good luck to you. Ian

I was something similar to Wayne, Had a Kaw when we first came to Canada, then when my son was born in 74, that was it for the bike. Jump forward to April 2007, bought a 2004 Suzuki 800 Maurader from a member of the GWRRA and joined the club, the bike was imaculate...1 lady owner...took the better half for a ride, which she enjoyed but found it was awful hard on her butt....a little larger than when we dated....So when I went to the Aug GWRRA's monthly breakfast, I was sat at a table with a guy that had just bought an 07 GW and he told me he traded in an 02 midnight Venture. Next day I went to the dealer took the Venture for a ride and though it was heavier than any bike I'd had before, bought it and have no regrets, plus the wife likes the seating a hell of alot better.
