Frreebird, They already had the room, She only took a break to post and tell us about it.... They ARE an amazing couple and I am happy for them both. Happy Anniversary you two...

You should not need anything else.. The stereo SHOULD already have a 12 volt hot wire, a ground wire, and most likely 4 speaker wires. Solder all connections, and use shrink tape to seal them from the elements.. Instructions should also come with the unit of which I would read first prior to installing..

So sorry for your loss my friend. I lost my dad last year. Your choice of poems is "rigth on time"...........I like it !! The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power To tell just when the hands will stop At late or early hour. To lose one's wealth is sad indeed, To lose one's health is more, To lose one's soul is such a loss That no man can restore. The present only is our own, So Live, Love, toil with a will -- Place no faith in 'Tomorrow' -- For the clock may then be still.

I have the wal mart gel pad, then I bought a black "toilet seat cover", and the toilet seat cover lays over the gel pad. Then I have the beaded seat cover over the toilet seat cover which holds it all down because the beaded seat cover has the 4 little stretch cords with clips that clip under the seat.. The gel pad was 20 bucks, the toilet seat cover was 3 bucks at the dollar store and it looks like sheep skin, and the beaded seat cover was 20 bucks.. You can laugh all you want, but I have had this set up on my bike for several years. Every comment I have ever recieved was wow that looks comfortable..and it is. On long rides, I remove the beaded seat cover and ride with the gel pad and toilet seat cover only.. my butt doesnt sweat..I also have a foam filled (padded) toilet seat cover that I carry in the trunk on long rides and once in a while I will throw it over the seat for a different confguration and change of seat.. It works great..

Glad you didnt crash orhit the turttle and that you are OK.. Only thing I can add is safety reminder that you can digest...(or dis-regard in which I hope you dont).. If you are riding on a well known road that is full of pot holes and is in desperately needed repairs, then you should NOT be riding at 70 MPH...You are only an accident about to happen.. Once anyone gets that "over confidence" feeling and thinks they are in total control... and not paying attention....is when an accident happens.

Dragonrider, He bud, I wont be back from my trip in time to attend this year, but if I was in town I would see you again in Memphis. I have enjoyed going and supporting you in this for several years, and I hope others who can make it this year get the same bug.. This is a great time everyone, so if you can make this event, please support Dragonrider (AKA- Lewis). Couple of favors to ask.. When you get to Memphis, kick B2Dad in the shin and give Patty a big hug for me...Shake Carbon one's hand and tel him HI for me, then kick Snarley Bill in the shin with your other leg and tell him that was from Eck.. Ride safe everyone.
