I personally was NOT impressed with riding the Devils Whip... There are way to many other great roads in the area to ride other then this one.. This is my 2 cents worth and Im sticking to it..

Dang guy... If Iwould have known, I would have rode up to Nashville and met you and would have rode the trace up to Hwy 25 in MS and then headed back to Huntsville. About 5 years ago, I led a VR Meet and ride that started in Natches, MS. up to Nashville, Tn., and it was a three night 4 day ride. A bunch of us met up in Natches... went out for dinner, met the next morning and rode up to Starkville... it rained the WHOLE day... everyone had pretty much a bad day of riding..so bad that no one even wanted to meet up for dinner in Starkville. Everyone ordered delivery to the motel.. The next day was a whole lot better.. no rain, a little cool, but nice.. As we were riding north, there was a bunch more VR members at a scenic view parking lot waiting for all of us to go by.. however, we stopped in the parking lot and met them all. They rode with us the rest of the way and we all stopped at Lovelace cafe and had dinner.. then many of us headed to Nashville to our motels..and some went home that evening. The next day we all went our separate ways.. All in all it wasnt that bad.. Sure wish the rain would not have spoiled day 1, but we all made it safe home..

FYI.. A few antibiotics — such as metronidazole (Flagyl), tinidazole (Tindamax) and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim) — should not be mixed with alcohol because this may result in a more severe reaction. Drinking any amount of alcohol with these medications can result in side effects such as flushing, headache, nausea and vomiting, and rapid heart rate. Keep in mind that some cold medicines and mouthwashes also contain alcohol. So check the label and avoid such products while taking these antibiotics. Although alcohol doesn't reduce the effectiveness of most antibiotics, it can reduce your energy and delay how quickly you recover from illness. So, it's a good idea to avoid alcohol until you finish your antibiotics and are feeling better. Until you get better I can drink the alcohal for you...

I don't think we'll be making this one, but for those of you who plan on attending this event, there is a COMFORT INN motel that is within walking distance to the event. Also, has a Rite Aid Pharmacy, Denny's, KFC, Taco Bell, Huddle House rigth next to motel, or not far up the road there is Louise's Kitchen, Pizza Hut, Subway, and the Dripulator Coffee house... Comfort Inn 585 Highway 9Black Mountain, NC 28711 (828) 669-9950 Maybe Black owl can have some of that Black Ivory Coffee for us in the mornings.....

Thats a good question... why isnt there sound if you can turn it on and change channels...Makes one's mind go ...HUMMMMM...I surely do not remember a mute button. I do not think it would be a blown fuse.. I do however think it is a loose connection or bad connection so I can only suggest you do the following to ensure it is NOT this issue. ====================== I suggest you split the fairing and apply dilectric grease to the large balck connectors as shown in these links. Tom, I know its tuff to quit. I quit for three weeks and was afraid to drink a beer...I always had two to three smokes to one beer..dont know why, but I did.. I stopped at the local pub one night and the bartender grabbed my type of beer and was about to open the bottle, when I loudly spoke up and said NO, please, just give me a coke. He was in shock. I told him I was afraid to drink a beer for I might want a cigarrett and then go back to smoking again. He gave me a coke and I went in the back to play billiards.. After an hour or so I decided to have a beer.. The bar tender asked me...are you sure you want to do this? I said I have to try it and if I ask for a smoke I want you to tell me to get out of here..he laughed..and handed me a beer. After drinking half the bottle of beer, I realized it tasted so much better with out the smoking.. so I drank the other half... went back to the bar and got another.. I have never gone back to smoking and I can drink some beer now and then.. Quitting is hard to do.. You have to do it for yourself.. not for someone else..once you make your mind up to do it for good you will.. and it appears you made your mind up already...Proud of you bud.. hang in there..

All in all SilvrT..is sounds like your just an ol-trouble maker ............. Road rage comes on quite rapidly most of the time, and in most all cases, with unjust cause. It may last for several minutes, depending on how quickly the addrenaline subsiudes, to where one can think calmly and rationally.... ask me how I know...

Larry, SO glad to hear you are able to get up and move round.. I wish you a quick complete recovery guy. Here's to wishing you good luck in finding another trike that you really like. I was looking at GW trikes yesterday up in Hazel Green, Al. (Tony's Trikes). Tony "GAVE" me a lower cowl for my GW that he took off a GW he was triking.

Tom, I wish you all the best in your efforts. It is one NASTY habit for sure!!!! You can do it.. heck, I did it and if I can anyone can.. I quit 4 plus yrs ago and I will NEVER go back to smoking. PS: My son quit smoking about 6 months ago and he says he will never go back either..I pray for him not to gpo back as well as I pray for you bud..

Im with Squidley on this one.. Sounds like your rear hub fingers need cleaned and grease up.. easy job, but you will need a pair of snap ring pliers..
