Sounds like your on top of it my friend. I look forward to hearing that you had a full recovery and are able to run and leap tall buildings ............and that you are able to ride again..
-
Dan, I really hope the new year brings you and your family a fully recovered leg... I know you have been on the wrong side of this battle for a long long time, and I here by send many wishes and prayers that "this time" will be the "last time" and that your leg troubles are over.

Well, how was your morning walk? Able to move that ankle back and forth? Tell Vallerie I sent a prayer for her to have the strength to put up wiht you through this..

Here is to wishing you a withstanding pain level you can handle and a full recovery........... When you think the pain is just to much and unbearable... just think of my wife ... she had both knees replaced at the same time.... Wish you the best my friend!! Eck

Muffinman and minnimuffin had a set on thier 1st gen. Jeff knows more about them then I do. He showed me one day how they worked. It would be nice to make them universal to fit different models and makes of bikes

Makes me wish I still had my RSV. I really like those carb covers Don. Very nice looking I must say. Heck, If I won them, I would donate them to Dragonrider to rally off for St Judes. However, I could really use the IPOD shuffle.... Game on..........

I thought the radio knobs fit the same way ..a post goes into the back of the knob and you tighten an allen screw an dsome of the knobs come with a spring clip inside to hold pressure on the radio post? Do they not attach the same on a 1st gen ?
-
Well Bob, If you ever get the chance, check out the radio knob on B2Dads trike. I gave it to him a couple years ago, and I also had one on my RSV...( before I customized it by "Autocrash in Huntsville"). The chrome radio knobs I bought at Radio shack.....

Well, I dont have to worry about winning that 5.5 million.... After watching the numbers being drawn last night I didnt have one single number on my ticket.. I think it would be easier for me to walk out my front door and get hit on the head with a coconut..

REAL NICE truck Ed. Before I bought my Avalanche, I was looking a truck just like yours but in black...Came close to buying it, but choose not to. Decided I didnt want it since my son in law owns a Harley and I would never hear the end of it being that I own a GW.. Here is what my Avalanche looks like:

I rented a chain saw one time. Cut down two trees.. took it back to the rental place and asked for my deposit back. Guy behind the counter said let me check it out first.. He pulled on a rope that was hanging on the side of it. I jumped back and yelled...what is that noise????????????????

My 6 x 10 enclosed trailer was only big enough for one RSV. The ramp door was only 6 inchs from the trunk of the bike If you get an open trailer it must be at minimum 10 ft long. If you plan on carrying TWO bikes, then I would definately get one that is 14 to 16 ft long and then I would put the bikes on it in opposite direction of each other to reduce any damage from occurring.

Bill, If you get to where you can not stand the itch, just get in your cage and head to Huntsville. (7.5 hours) There is a GW waiting for you .........anytime..
-
Bill, You owe me nothing..but hey. I would take a coffee now.... I sold my old trailer a while back, but it was almost set up complete. Wired for 110 and 220 volt..notice the breaker box on left side of rear door just under tail light in 1st picture.

Thanks for the news of his passing on. I rememeber when I was stationed in Dallas I went to the South Fork Ranch for a visit. When I got upstairs there was a JR look-a-like sitting on a bed and he was charging $5.00 from the women, to sit on the bed with him and have their photo taken with him..There was a line of women down the hallway waiting thier turn for their photo with him. Wasnt even JR, but the women were paying it... :mo money: I was not at all impressed with the house.. the back 40 is real...and the Vet was parked in the garage.
-
Bob, I hear that all the way down here...............it shook the house....!!
