  9. Ruffy, For several years now you know I have really liked your bike, and we have been teasing each other over it in a joking manor. Your bike has been very well taken care of, and you my friend have added many accessories and mods that are outstanding. If there was ever a 2nd gen that i would be interested in, it would be this one that you have owned. Your gandson will be getting something I hope he takes care of half as well as you have. SO ..:bawling:I guess this means I am no longer on your benificiary list and have to kiss it good by once and for all. (dang)... Oh wel, guess I will try to sleep over the next few days as I get over this impact in my life.. You take care my friend, and dont think this will separate our friendship.. cause I have only been joking with you.
  10. Dave, Just a suggestion here sir..and by all means, not trying to put you on the spot. Is there any way you could make a handull of copies (8 to 10 copies) on discs and send them to Dragonrider (or myself) where we could use them for door prizes at our Vogel rally or maintenance day or any other M&Eat rally we have. Here is another thought: If you can make just one copy and send it to me I will make the other copies to be given away. I will even pay you the postage and cover the cost of the other disc. If you have already mailed it to someone I ask the recieving party to contact me. Thanks Eck

  14. You and Charleen are experienceing the same feelings that Konnie and I went through when our daughter graduated from Auburn two years ago and became a nurse. We too we so happy and proud. Makes you feel like as a parent you just might have done something right.. The nursing job offers will start flying in soon. Our daughter landed a nursing job 4 days after she graduated and she is often called with other nursing job offers coming in from other states. In fact, she lives close to Auburn, Alabama, and she just accepted a new nursing job offer in Atlanta and will be starting in two weeks. Im happy for you guys and your daughter!!
  15. Sorry Joe, but my comment was a "tease" for original poster of this thread... Swifty may need riding lesson before he can ride one. He is a little "slow"....
  16. I would think that YOU might would want to get some riding lessons.. before you could ride one..
  17. From Cancun to to Cosmel (and back), there is what they call the "Party Boat" ride. It is an old paddle wheel boat that slowly rides down the coast. It has three floors with a glass bottom on the first floor to see what is beneath in the waters under the boat. Each floor of the boat has a "bar" at the aft end and several tables and chairs on each floor to sit at. When I went on this "party" it was $35.00 per person. All the food and drinks you could consume was included. They even stopped on the beach (somewhere) and we played volley ball (if you wanted to), a PIG roast, snorkling & swimming was also all included in the $35.00 price. Best darn party I ever atteneded.. The 2nd and 3rd floors of the boat have a huge openings (holes) in the middle that are fenced off so you dont fall over/ through, but you can look down to the 2nd or 1st floor and see everyone. The first floor also has a band that plays the whole time you are on the boat.. A ride you will remember............ Well, unless you consume to much of the drink..
  18. And here all this time I have been afraid of getting caught in the rain, NOT because I would melt.. but because I thought I would RUST UP...but thanks to you it looks like I dont have to worry about that anymore.... Thanks I did learn how to clean up a long time ago though... How Does Eck® clean up? A. Mineral spirits, alcohol or similar products nicely remove any excess material

  24. Venturerider is one of a kind... There are many other motorcycle sites. Some are found to be helpful and some...well they just arent. Your cousin may have to sign up on a few and try them out...until then, I can only hope he is as lucky as I was to find one that is as freindly and helpful as VR.Org. In the mean time, if your cousin has a question or needs help, maybe he could tell you, and you post it here and just maybe we can offer some advice on his needs until he does find a helpful site..
