Woody, I hope I was just kidding....... I had my GW covered up in my garage one day and the neighbor told me if he was ashamed of his bike he would cover it up too.. I have never forgot his comment.. You have a beautiful trike for sure. Hope the HD dealer comes through for you in the future.

WOW...what a way to ask for Christmas presents.....but hey if it works let me jump in on this wagon too now.. I am just as thankful as Freebird and others here for the family of people whom have gathered here for I have never met a member who would not lend a hand or say kinds words to comfort one in need. All I can say is this VR.org family is the best, and I feel very fortunate to be a part of that family. (OK, don't forget I won a GW when it comes to Christmas presents).. Don, You should know by now I am joking......

Tell Linda I was thinking the same thing as I click on the pictures...I guess if I was ashamed of my bike I wouldn't photograph it either.........

It looks more like the quick disconnect / connector for a heated vest or some type of clothing to me . It sure don't look like a battery tender cord. The ends of battery tender cords are "off set" in length with male/female ends \ Edit: I have to agree with Bongobobny (below post) in that it appears to look more like a capacitor ...the end would not plug into a heated garment as I originally thought.

My bike, my trucks my house are real. The sun, moon and clouds are real. The wind or breeze on my skin is real. The pain and love in my heart is real. The tears I shed are real. The laughter I express is real When I listen to others is real Road rage, at times is real. My desire to help those in need is real. My wish for peace is real. You reading this is real. When I go to the bathroom now that is real.. don't believe me.. come see, smell, touch, taste watch for yourself..

Nice job. Almost looks like a mini coffin...

Same here.. no matter what you list these jerks send something like this. My son in Savannah fell for it. They picked up his car, the check bounced.. He never was able to retrieve his money or car. I once had a guy send me a similar email from CA for a "couch" I was selling in Huntsville, AL.. He wanted to send his drive to the house to pick it up and he was wanted to pay me through Pay-pal...What a PAL he was going to be.............

Eck replied to Sleeperhawks Mechanic's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
So sorry to hear this Bobbie. Our prayers are sent in hopes of bringing comfort and strength to her and to you guys with hopes she can find a worth while job quickly. I hope GODS PLANS for her life come about real soon. I have always been a strong believer in things happen for a reason. Reasons we may not understand. But it happened for a reason.. a good reason.. Please tell her if there is anything we can help with to give us a ring. Believe, don't loose faith ! Eck -

Got rear ended, need to replace my back fender
Eck replied to fredfloon's topic in General Tech Talk
Hey Tom, So glad to see you are able to post about your accident. Count your blessings... As for the wires in the rear fender, I would suggest you connect a piece of string/ wire, something strong to each wire BEFORE you pull them out of your old fender. Make a color chart as to which wire is for what.. Fish string/ wire through replacement fender and pull the old wiring through the channel as it is now. On another note, I posted a few days ago looking for you. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=82925 I am presently in Starkville, MS for the next 2 weeks consulting on a new opportunity. I heard during our discussions of this trip that I may be asked to go to RI for three weeks to do some consulting up there on another issue. As of right now, I am not sure what my schedule will be or exactly where they want my help. I also heard they may be asking me to help on another manufacturing problem in Canton, Ga. for 3 days...I agreed to do the 2 weeks here in MS for now and I agreed to go to RI & Canton if and when they need me to. I cant ride my wing right now because I have it tore down and I have my bushtec trailer torn down doing all kinds of maintenance on both from front to back on it, so I figured I would do this for now while waiting for all the parts, tires and shocks to come in. I will let you know if and when I may be coming up your way. Maybe we can meet up for that favorite drink and some VR.Org family conversation. -
This is such sad news. Those people always have it bad and never get a break.

There are way to many scams and perverts that visit this site, We need to know who you are before we start emailing or calling you.

Thanks for the heads up Jeff.........I didn't even think of that..

Thanks Dan, I have seen the HF grinders before but I just never bought one. Figure why buy one now for I wont be drilling (or grinding) many things over the next 10 years anyway..... I'll be darned if I'm buying one just so the kids can fight over it when I'm gone.
-
I should do something like this too. I bet I have 200 drill bits and every time I need one it is dull as heck or the tip is broken or chipped. I used to sharpen drill bits on an old stone bench grinder years ago.. I wish I had a good bench grinder now.

I'm not really LOOKING for a job... However, I just agreed (yesterday) to go back to Columbus, MS for a two weeks gig ...they called and asked me to come to Columbus, MS for two weeks and then asked if I would help them out by going to Canton, GA for 3 days and then to Rhode Island for 3 weeks, so I agreed to go back to work for a little while. Heck its getting cold here and besides that, my bike is tore down at the moment sitting on a jack, because I am doing complete maintenance from front to back on it so I cant ride it anyway right now. May as well make a little extra money while it is being offered..

Many thanks go to you for your service and all that you do for this country. THANKS!
