  2. Guess you can take me off your "WILL" since it is going to a different owner, but keep me in mind brother for any other dream projects you get into...

  8. I have Hwy 12 (west) from Lolo Mt to Lewiston ID, then I am taking Hwy 129 south thru WA and into OR on Hwy 3 to Enterprise. I plan to Take Hwy 191 north from Yellowstone to Bozeman then I-90 west to Missoula and then Hwy 12 thru Lolo.
  9. That's what I was looking for Camos, someone who knows what the weather would be out there in May /June-ish time frame. So it would be better to be in that area around end of July / Aug it sounds like. (Quote) Venture West will happen June 19th-21st in The Dalles Oregon. Hint, hint Ah ha.. I didn't realize this.. but if June is to soon for me to be in that area then I may not make this event.
  10. Mike, I will be in Clarkston, and may head south from there thru Devils Canyon, which means I may not go trough Walla Walla. However, When I get closer to the day/ date I can let you know. I would enjoy meeting up with you.
  11. you have email...
  12. Ok, here is the question for those of you who have been here before, and you have one of three choices of roads to to choose from. Which road would YOU take? Choice # 1 = Hwy 89 north out of Yellowstone taking it up to Livingston, Montana...... Choice # 2 = Hwy 287 north/west up through Cameron and on to Three Forks? Choice # 3 = Hwy 191 north to four corners After taking ONE of these roads, I will be heading west to Missoula to pick up Hwy 12 south and take it all the way west through Walla Walla Oregon and down to Hwy 199 down to / through the Red wood Forest on Hwy 101. I'm planning a road trip out west, and I have to choose which road is the best. (Hwy 89, Hwy 191 or Hwy 287)?
  13. This should provide you an answer no matter what you believe...
  14. Back at you Don. Here is to wishing you , Ellen, and every other VR family member a very merry Christmas and a great (safe) 2014 year.
  15. Well, I could have a defective speed bleeder. I will keep my eye on this one to see if it still leaks. I was able to turn it 1/4 turn, and that in itself may have been enough for it to leak. If it does leak, I have a spare one.. I did notice that these speed bleeders did not have any sealant on the threads.. I put some on the threads before installing each one of them. The first set of speed bleeders I bought (for my RSV) had sealant already applied to the threads when I opened the bag.. these did not have it....
  16. This whole summer I have been trying to find where the air is getting into my rear brake line system. I would bleed the brakes and have perfect brakes ...for about a month and then I would notice I would have to pump them to get a better brake peddle. Last night I pumped them up and tied a bungee cord around the brake peddle and tied it off to the floor jack the bike was sitting on.. I left the bungee cord on it all night putting pressure in the system. Today, I found the leak.. I looked everywhere and could not see brake fluid. I removed the rubber cap from the lower bleeder on the rear caliper and there it was.. brake fluid.. It leaked so slow it didn't even run out of the rubber cap until I removed the cap from the bleeder. SO I bled the rear brake system again and that little booger is now tightened up like it is supposed to be. (I have speed bleeders) Just a reminder to make sure you tighten the bleeders up well before you think you are finished..
  17. I could use a little seat time, ... You must be getting back to normal again... I mean, whatever the definition of normal is for you anyway.. I'm ready for a ride too. I just put the left front tube back in after rebuilding it again,,(darn new seal leaked) and then I installed new front brake pads.. Tomorrow I will be installing new rear brake pads and bleeding the entire brake system.
  18. Glad you are back home my friend... Heal quickly! Best wishes for a full recovery with 100% results! in your favor.......
  19. That would require a lot of ingenuity and removal of plastic supporting material from the dash and metal from the metal speaker housing. Ah heck, just do it. Why not be the first to try it? Just take a video to share the before and after results. I would first locate a replacement dash for that just in case it don't work result you are worried about.
