From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A submersible pump (or sub pump, electric submersible pump (ESP)) is a device which has a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The whole assembly is submerged in the fluid to be pumped.[4] The main advantage of this type of pump is that it prevents pump cavitation, a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the fluid surface. Submersible pumps push fluid to the surface as opposed to jet pumps having to pull fluids. Submersibles are more efficient than jet pumps.

Wishing you the best of luck as you and your Plummer tackle the task at hand today. Hope all goes smoothe and your up and running easily and quickly. Many years ago (late 60s), I worked for a well drilling guy and ran his rig. Drilled many a well back in those days. Installed submersible pumps, dug trenches, installed water lines and electric lines to the house as you will be doing today.. Yep, I surely don't have many fond memories of that job... all I can do is wish you the best of luck. Oh, and stay out of the mud.............

Well, I have these pictures in my mind....do they count? Lets see, a little store on right, gravel parking lot on left side of store, across from store is the guard shack (that wasn't open) the gate "arm" is about 40 feet from the guard shack, there is a small medium strip between going in and out of the camp site, Oh and there are two deer standing on the side of the road just past the loading dock on the right, several small boats with people fishing, and hot coffee at McDonalds... Whew... had to pic my brain to remember all that now.. If I get a chance again, I will head back to see if I can find anyone. Wont be today though.. While at Ruby falls, I hope you went to look out mountain (rock city) while there. From the "Rock City" it is said that seven U.S. states can be seen: Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. In reality, on very clear days, some mountains in the Knoxville area of Tennessee can be seen at a distance of about 100 miles, but the curvature of the earth's surface lowers anything in Kentucky, South Carolina, or Virginia to below the horizon. http://www.lookoutmountain.com/ For those that would like to make a run to see it: Lookout Mountain is located at http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/55/WMA_button2b.png/17px-WMA_button2b.png WikiMiniAtlas 34°59′47″N 85°21′3″W / 34.99639°N 85.35083°W / 34.99639; -85.35083

Sorry Marcarl, but I didn't just have a senior moment here bud. See, I knew the rally didn't start until tomorrow .. and as with most any rally there are always a few people who show up a day or two before hand. I had a little time this morning (since my son and his wife are off with a couple friends for the day), where I could jump on the bike and take a chance to see if I could find a VR member in Guntersville. I didn't just run down there thinking the rally was today. I may be getting a little older but not all my actions are results of senior moments.

I know I was a day early but I got up at 4:30am and took off for Guntersville, Al. I got to the state park and didn't see anyone in sight and not one motorcycle was in the parking lot at 6:30am... I got a cup of coffee and waited outside by the check in counter but again, not one bike was there except mine. Then I got back on my bike and rode to the camp ground area. Could not get in - no one at the gate. I was told they don't open till 8am, I was there at 7am...the little store was open next to the gate. I just wanted to ride around the camp ground and look for any Ventures...but I could not get in, so I got back on my bike and went to McDonalds and had breakfast...never saw a bike in town go by, so I decided the heck with it and just came back home. Just thought I might be able to see someone from the VR group, but only saw one bike and that guy didn't wave at all. Appeared to be in a world of his own...

If I ever get rid of my wing, I will own a Harley...
-
Only about one Yamaha bike in 10 has experienced a major problem or required a serious repair over the past four years, according to the 4,424 motorcycle owners surveyed by CR. In contrast, about one BMW motorcycle in three has suffered from such a complaint -- and one Harley in four. Here's how the numbers break down: http://g.foolcdn.com/editorial/images/104131/percentage-of-bikes-with-problems_large.JPG Again, the numbers: http://g.foolcdn.com/editorial/images/104131/problems-by-class_large.JPG It may help to explain why -- Harley's weak performance on the surveynotwithstanding -- CR says Harley owners remain the most brand-loyal of all motorcycle owners, with an astounding 75% saying yes, they'd buy a Harley again. The occasional small repair bill may simply be a price they're willing to pay for owning the most famous name in motorcycles. (And it probably doesn't hurt that Harley goes the extra mile to take care of its customers when an issue with one of its bikes does arise.)

Quote) Umm. Eck, I don't think it has started yet... July 27 through July 31, 2014 Dang... I was thinking it was already in motion and I'm missing it... My son and his wife are here now, and I was thinking of trying to get down there for a day, (and still might) depending on if they go off to see a few friends.. I have lost all time and days since they have been here..... now where did I set my beer.. Thanks for the pictures of past IR's though.. I really needed that.......ha -
Nice looking ride my friend. Real nice!!! If I ever decide to sell my wing, I would be looking to buy one just like yours. However.. I really like my wing and am no where close to selling ...(yet) ... My best friend has one just like it and he and I have rode many a trouble free mile together..

I was one of the lucky ones to meet Jason in Memphis when the VR group met up for St. Jude's a few years back. Very interesting person he was with much knowledge. He is a star in his mom and dad's eyes for sure. I would like to see and read the story. Thanks for sharing Bill. Hope Patti can post it soon.

Wishing all a safe ride......!!! As you travel through Kansas, take note that the birds fly up-side down... (there is nothing to poop on............) ..

I first just slip the axel in place, with out the rear wheel. Do not install the spacers and do not install / tighten axel nut. Then adjust the 4 acorn nuts in proper sequence while you use other hand to turn the axel to ensure no binding occurs. The axel should easily slip back out... Then install the rear wheel with spacers and axel nut. (Clean up and re-grease the rear wheel hub pins before you install rear wheel since you have it out.) See link below which tells you the same. http://www.venturerider.org/rearnoise/index.1.jpg

This is part of my plan, but I was going to take HWY 219 out of Parsons and head to Elkins, then take 72 east. I know it is a back country road and 1 1/2 lanes wide. I zoomed in on Google and placed that little man on the road so I could see what it looked like.

I will be on most of these routes you mentioned on our way south. (I decided not to get on Skyline Dr., in Front Royal..) Many thanks.... Eck

Bob, I just made tentative plans to meet up with Skid on my way up to Fairmont. I also may have someone following me, but not sure yet....(Hope so anyway)... This is what I sent to Skid in an email: Right now, I do not have an "actual date" as to when I will be going through your area on my way to Fairmont. My ex-brother in law, (Paul), who is my best friend to this day, works for a living where as I don't.. I am waiting on him to tell me when he can take his vacation. I do know he will be taking it in Sept., but not sure yet as to what week. Usually, we meet up on a Weds., spend the night in the town where we meet up, then the next day we take off for a 5, 7 or day ride. As soon as I know the actual date that I will meet up with Paul, I will send you another email, (here on the site), and let you know. Hopefully we can meet up for lunch and chat a while. I will be leaving Huntsville a day earlier than the date Paul and I are to meet up since I have a longer ride to get there. Paul only has a 4.5 hour ride to Fairmont, where I will have a 640 mile ride. I will be riding up to Beckley (or Mount Hope), and spend the night, then the next day I will head to Fairmont to meet up with you for lunch, then take off to meet up with Paul around 3pm. My cell # is: 256-four two nine - 86 two three I will get your number from your profile page and plug it into my cell phone right now.. Eck Bob, I am going into your profile page to get your phone number, and I will call you (and Skid) from my motel in Beckley or Mount Hope, and see if we can all get together for lunch. Everyone and anyone is MOST WELCOME to go on this ride with us if you wish. When I get the dates, I can send motel info if anyone wants to make arrangements. I do know that I am meeting my friend in Fairmont here: Fairfield Inn & Suites/ Marriott 27 Southland Dr Fairmont, WV 26554 Get directions (304) 367-9150 marriott.com
