compliments from another site.. Pretty neat for those who need space in their garage. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.300034230053806.73987.291211780936051&type=3
  4. Note: This is a completely NEW recall including those bikes which were supposedly "fixed" under the first original recall that came out on Dec 1st, 2011 (ref: 11V567000) SUMMARY: American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain model year 2001-2010 and 2012 GL1800 and 2001-2005 GL1800A motorcycles. The rear brakes of the affected motorcycles may drag after the brakes are released. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchResults?refurl=email&searchType=ID&targetCategory=R&searchCriteria.nhtsa_ids=14V472
  5. I agree with you that is say, far fetched.. but being it made me laugh, I figured it may help someone else laugh and have a better day.
  6. I knew you were going to ban him and type this thread Freebird... I followed his instructions on how to read someone's mind........
  7. Some of you may have heard this before, but you will enjoy it again, and so will those who have never heard it. Im still laughing as I type this.. Turn up sound - having family present is OK........grab a tissue... http://ladyrocky.angelfire.com/voice.html
  8. It is now..........
  9. You would be surprised at the impact those phones can take. The back may have come off and the battery may have come out, but they are pretty darn strong. When I was in my accident a few years back, my phone came off and we were able to find it. It was all banged up, but it still worked.. One thing I would do is at minimum try to find the phone only to retrieve the sims card inside it...That card contains vital information you may not want others to find.. If you go back to the area you lost it in, take another cell phone with you. Once there in that area, call your cell phone and listen for it to ring..might make it easier to locate it...
  10. At 6 ft wide, I do not think you would have enough "width" to load two "heavy" bikes side by side, safely, without causing damage to them. At 22ft in length, you surely cant load each "heavy" bike in a single row..3 heavy bikes in a straight line would need 25ft leaving little between them end to end. Now on a "staggered" - "zig-zag" loading attempt, you might have enough room for all four heavy bikes.
  11. Very kind offer!! Thanks for being a part of the VR family!!!!
  12. Keep calling the rotten %$*^%$*^% When he answers, just let it all out..cuss at him in words he hasn't heard in a while, Stop nothing short of demanding he bring you the parts and that he brings them "TOMORROW"...and make darn sure you tell him you want reimbursed for the gas money you wasted. THERE......hope that makes you feel better.. it sure made me feel better just typing it.

  17. If you locked your key and remote keyless fob inside your trunk on a Honda Goldwing 1800, and you don’t have a spare key, here is a trick or a work around to help you out in this situation. This works like a charm but you will need two things. 1) -The allen wrench to take of the passenger grips off the seat so you can remove the seat. 2) - You will also need a 2ft long 14 / 16 gage wire for jumping the connection. Instructions: 1) remove seat 2) connect a wire to the "positive" on the battery terminal 3) under seat, find the GREY 14 pin connector - (on side without battery towards the back) 4) insert (just touch) the other end of the wire in the back of the connector to the "BLUE" wire 5) IT UNLOCKS note: Leave the GREY 14 pin connector CONNECTED - do not disconnect the connector as it needs to be connected to complete circuit. You should learn from this to ensure you carry or hide a spare key on your motorcycle just in case! Here is a photo of the GREY 14 PIN connector with instructions.

  21. Below was posted by Cowpuc and moved here here by Eck I got this goofy medical stuff going on that we are waiting for answers on so I have to keep my riding real minimal.. That said, I snuck off by myself (dont dare to put Tip on the bike) and rode a few miles to one of our favorite local "get away spots" and made a little "Memory Video" noting some friends who have gone before me and some quick memories of folks/places from this last summer.. It was a VERY special time of reflection and recollection, THANKS ECK for bringing this special to the surface!! As a highlight and for those who dont wanna take the time for the video I posted, here are some quick pics of some of those memories: RODE IN LOVING MEMORY OF: Gunboat: Never had the privilege of riding with you my friend but have heard A LOT about you.. Was told by more than one source that you and I would have really hit it off! Bud Luther: Friends brother who lost his battle with cancer 2 years ago. Sticker was from an over night camping trip a large group of us did in his honor. Glen; Close friend who lost his life in a bike accident 3 years ago. Mike: Very close friend who lost his life on a bike a couple weeks before we were suppose to graduate high school together. Also rode with thoughts of the great friends we made this year. Shots of memory stickers/patches accumulated over this last summers adventures that bring back GREAT memories of GREAT friends, some I havent even met yet,,, BUT WILL!!! 22. I was not able to ride today due to the back pain I am in from my riding lawn mower accident last Sunday. I did open that place in my head and let several old memories come out of which I pondered over, of friends lost over the years including their families.
  23. FYI..The two outer nuts are for top edge flange of the fairing / windshield, not the chrome piece if I remember correctly.
