Bump... Please see post #1 (original post was edited ).

(This was the reason I posted a few weeks back requesting your prayers). I have many memories of this man.....Many miles we rode together, many laughs shared, many times sitting at the same table, many stories told.. Please click on link: Jerome Lee Bough Obituary: View Jerome Bough's Obituary by Northwest Herald VR.ORG name: Boo Joined VR.Org on 08-16-2006 Bike Year and Model: 2001 Red RSV EDIT 12-27-14: Sorry I didn't explain/provide this information in my original post folks. I was having computer problems and wanted to post what I could at that moment to get the new out to you. Boo had Leukemia, MDS and his kidneys began failing. He was placed in the hospital during the third week of November. Dialysis was going on for his kidneys, and he was on some strong medication which left him bed ridden. Many sores appeared in his mouth which made it hard for him to speak. His legs were both swelled up. The Dr. told him and his wife Jane that he would not make it to the new year. Boo wanted to go home to be with his family. The hospital let him go home on Friday, Dec 5th, knowing there wasn't anything else they could do for him. Jane asked her their kids to watch him on Friday Dec 12th so that she could go to the funeral home to make arrangements. When Jane returned home her kids met her at the front door. Jane knew he passed while she was gone. Jane told me that Boo just didn't want to her to see him pass on . They were married 47 years., That is a long time to be with someone. Boo and Jane were good friends with everyone they met in the VR family. He will be missed..

I have been riding a car tire on my wing for over 8k miles now.. I have been in MANY twisties, (WV, NC, GA & TN), and those that know me know I usually ride hard at times in the twisties. Just because I now have a CT on my wing doesn't mean I ride any different. In MY opinion, my wing rides "much" smoother on the super slabs and I find it is "much" easier to handle in the curves and twisties. As for the comment of having to raise the air pressure to an unsafe limit and riding on a time bomb, I don't know of anyone who runs a CT that does that. Those who run CT's will tell you to ONLY run 29 to 31lbs in your CT. I run 30lbs all the time. Twisties or not.. Reference post #19 above.. I feel the same........ Eck

Note: This is ONLY a joke and was not posted to address any type of religion in any way. I just thought it was funny and thought some of you here would enjoy it too. I have always questioned if Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton were really preachers since they have no church. When I heard Al Sharpton was guest preacher at a black Houston Church, I decided to check him out in person and see what it was all about......... . I sat down and Sharpton came up to me, I don't know why, maybe it was because I was the only white person in the Church. He laid his hands on my hand and said: "By the will of Jesus the Lord All Mighty, and the will of God, you will walk today." I told him I was not paralyzed. He came back and laid his hands on me again, and repeated the same thing. Again I told him there is nothing wrong with me. After the sermon I stepped outside and lo and behold, my dang car had been stolen!

Found what we may need at the next Asheville rally. The new "PUBCYCLE" Q: What is the Pubcycle? A: It’s a BYO (Beer or Wine) 13-person pedal powered trolley on wheels, with a certified Tour Driver in the driver’s seat. Perfect for reunions, work parties, birthday celebrations, bachelor/bachelorette parties, company outings, sightseeing, themed nights out; the possibilities are endless! A minimum of 6 pedalers is necessary to power the Pubcycle. Here’s the finished product, this photo was taken just before it left AZ to come live in Asheville!

Not so sure I really understand your question Rodney. Are you wanting to get your forum name on the Facebook forum in place of your real name?

(Quote- Freebird) - It may require a message to the user requesting access to find out what their username is here. A bit more work but not that big a deal. This is exactly what I have been doing. It works too! The biggest issue will be going through all the current members there and seeing if they are supporting members here. Been working on this today. If there was a way to perform a search on the VR.org site using the requestors name, it sure would be easier since we do not know their user name on the VR.org site.

Decided to jump in my riding gear, pants, heater jacket and thermal socks, and take off this morning for a ride. Ended up in Lebanon, TN., then rode to Cookeville, TN, then to Chattanooga, TN and back to Madison Al... A little on the cool side but a peaceful ride today..

If anyone wants to join the FB page, please post your VR.org name with your real name. It sure would make it easier for the admin to approve or send an email as to why they could not accept the request...thanks
