Ahhhh,, the summer of 14,,, ADVENTURE SERVED UP GORMET STYLE!!!!
Eck replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
Thanks for sharing your 2014 summer story. Felt like I was riding along with you two as I read it and looked at the pictures.. -
Keep adding all those lights and you will soon have to apply for your own zip code. Google maps will be able to locate you........ You can bet if I was with you during a night ride I would let you lead the pack..........!!

19 Wonderful Years with a special lady
Eck replied to Freebird's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Congrats to both of you I wish you both the best in the years ahead. If you have respect for one another you will see that other 19 years. With out respect, you may not see 5 years. I made my wife a promise before we got married. I promised her that I would never call her a name or cuss her out put my hand on her or throw anything. 20 years latter we are together and not once have either of us yelled, thrown anything, called the other a name or placed a negative hand on one another. Konnie is my best friend and always will be, and I am still in love with her. -
One thing I must say about Boo and or Jane.. No matter what picture you look at of them, they are both always smiling..........

How in the world did they register these then: 1) - The DUKW (colloquially known as Duck) which is a six-wheel-drive amphibious modification of the 2-ton capacity CCKW trucks used by the U.S. military in World War II. 2) - An amphibious vehicle (or simply amphibian), which is a vehicle that is a means of transport, viable on land as well as on (or under) water 3) - WaterCar's Panther is as at home on the water as it is on the land But now they don't know how to register a quadski??

I have had the multi colored lights on my bike and was stopped because as they changed colors, there was red and blue in the mix. You can not have red or blue lights on your bike for it IS against the law !!! If I ever install LED lights on another bike they will be BRIGHT WHITE LED's..

(This was the reason I posted a few weeks back requesting your prayers). I have many memories of this man.....Many miles we rode together, many laughs shared, many times sitting at the same table, many stories told.. Please click on link: Jerome Lee Bough Obituary: View Jerome Bough's Obituary by Northwest Herald VR.ORG name: Boo Joined VR.Org on 08-16-2006 Bike Year and Model: 2001 Red RSV EDIT 12-27-14: Sorry I didn't explain/provide this information in my original post folks. I was having computer problems and wanted to post what I could at that moment to get the new out to you. Boo had Leukemia, MDS and his kidneys began failing. He was placed in the hospital during the third week of November. Dialysis was going on for his kidneys, and he was on some strong medication which left him bed ridden. Many sores appeared in his mouth which made it hard for him to speak. His legs were both swelled up. The Dr. told him and his wife Jane that he would not make it to the new year. Boo wanted to go home to be with his family. The hospital let him go home on Friday, Dec 5th, knowing there wasn't anything else they could do for him. Jane asked her their kids to watch him on Friday Dec 12th so that she could go to the funeral home to make arrangements. When Jane returned home her kids met her at the front door. Jane knew he passed while she was gone. Jane told me that Boo just didn't want to her to see him pass on . They were married 47 years., That is a long time to be with someone. Boo and Jane were good friends with everyone they met in the VR family. He will be missed..

I have been riding a car tire on my wing for over 8k miles now.. I have been in MANY twisties, (WV, NC, GA & TN), and those that know me know I usually ride hard at times in the twisties. Just because I now have a CT on my wing doesn't mean I ride any different. In MY opinion, my wing rides "much" smoother on the super slabs and I find it is "much" easier to handle in the curves and twisties. As for the comment of having to raise the air pressure to an unsafe limit and riding on a time bomb, I don't know of anyone who runs a CT that does that. Those who run CT's will tell you to ONLY run 29 to 31lbs in your CT. I run 30lbs all the time. Twisties or not.. Reference post #19 above.. I feel the same........ Eck
