No worries Bill... As I said, I haven't made taken any action..(yet).. I've had the thoughts of getting a HD before I bought my wing. However, I really like my wing, its power and ride and since I ride solo 99.9% of the time, I find it fits me well. I have 100% confidence in my wing to take off right now for CA and back. I know how to work on it if something does break down and what spare parts to carry with me at all times on it. Let me know when your ready to pull the trigger... I will still help you find one if you want.

The slide out I have in mind, as I mentioned above, would also include two slide open doors, one on each side of the expando portion so each person could slip outeasily for those night time potty calls and each door would have port hole windows that crank open for ventilation /air flow (for those gassy nights ...cowpuc).

I have given much thought of selling my wing and pursuing a new Harley. I still have the thoughts, just haven't acted (yet). Who knows, someday you might see me on one. Over the years, I have learned that "I" don't give a hoot what anybody rides. If they want to go for a ride with me they are welcome anytime. If I break down I ask that they help me as I would help them so all of us get back home safely. I thought the video was funny as heck and I even sent it to my best friend and his wife who rides a Harley. I know they will get a kick out of it too.

Neat idea / concept you have there cowpuc.. That would be really different. Now as my thoughts begin to "EXPAND" on your idea...I see the side car being a two section side car that has capabilities to extend in "LENGHT" (not width), just like an RV expands outward, the rear section of the side car expands / extends backwards providing a much longer "cabin" to sleep in. I also see this providing more real estate for the back of the DOUBLE WIDE riders seat (which I see is a two piece), fold down and back filling the floor area of the rear extended section. Once the sun comes up, the back portions (halves) of the seat fold back in place with the push of a button and the side car collapses back into its normal side car length to match that of the bike. Oh heck, I have this view in my head and its giving me a headache now as all these ideas are coming in...stop..stop,,stop... I have the Ketchup and mustard for those hot dogs when you find them..

No I didn't watch it to the end because I knew something was up at the beginning. The pause or spacing between squeak sounds was a whole lot "slower" than anything turning on his bike. The squeak would have had to be close to the speed his wheels or belt was turning. I was just saying, If I ever had a bike that squeaked like that it would be turned back in right away and a refund would be issued until it was fixed.

If the squeak sound like the squeal in that video, I would be taking it back and getting a full refund and once they got the problem figured out and fixed, then I would look at them again. No way would I be riding a bike that sounded like that. Heck, I would hate to have a mile long string of goose flying behind me..

That's to close buddy...... to close.... I know many speak of having guns on hand and ready to use, but for those that don't: Buy a can buy wasp spray that shoots 20 feet.. Keep some on your bed stand along with the keys to your vehicle.. If someone does break in, first push the red alarm button on the key fob to get your vehicle car horn going.. Grab the wasp spray and "HOPE LIKE HECK" the intruder doesn't have a gun... Do not get close to the intruder, stay at minimum 20 ft away and spray the wasp spray into his face and eyes..ylu don't want it to get into your eyes or on your clothes.. According the Huntsville Police department, a group of us in the neighborhood watch program was told that only the hospital has the diluting fluid needed to flush the wasp spray out of their eyes, and anyone who comes into the hospital with wasp spray in their eyes, the nurses / Dr's call the police to let them know. The police in the mean time have been contacted by the person who was broken into and they have told the police that they sprayed the intruder with the wasp spray...what did the intruder look like they will ask.. And they are off to the hospital to arrest your intruder.. Yes, I know this is "IF"... the intruder does not have a gun.. but hey,...its a chance you have..

When you get to where you think you really know the stopping power of your bike, take it on a gravel road and do the same tests......with and without your partner.. then come back and tell us how that works out........ As Skid hinted towards, I test my brakes every day as I ride like no one sees me.. :

Thanks Dave(and Barbie), for the great suggestion. I think I will have to go shopping around for a digital recorder as you mentioned and do it that way. This seems the most simplest to me. I tried putting my thumb drive straight into the back of my TV, and then put the TV on a music channel and tried to figure out how to make it record but no luck doing that.. I do not have a cord to connect to my headphone or speaker out from the TV and connect the other end to a computer mic input. (I'm looking for one of those too - thanks sfcrader). A friend also emailed me and said he would send me some MP3 music, so I will have some new music to listen too...happy34:

HEY folks, I just called Quality Inn in Elyria, Oh and spoke with Delphia. She said she knows NOTHING about Venturerider people staying there May 29th or May 30th... She did tell me she would give us a Venturerider group rate for $99.99 a night.. (such a deal ..........). So if you did make reservations there what are they charging you... Did you get the same rate, cheaper rate or more expensive rate?

As of right now, my wife (Konnie) and I will be there, and we will be staying at the Quality Inn, Elyria. Going to go make our reservations right now...

If anyone figures out a good way to do this, other than what has been mentioned / suggested so far (above) post it here so others can record their music.. Im off to trying the suggestions above..
