I was thinking of Todd yesterday wondering the same thing. I have not heard from Todd since he stayed here at my place, then left to head on his trip out west.. Take that back..I remember he posted saying he made it to Okla city, okla on back roads... othere than that i have not heard from him. I sure hope all is ok with him, and hope to see him at the 2nd annual Alabama State Wide Meet & Eat coming up Oct 6th..

Sounds good to me too Freebird. I was only joking about Cinderella on previous post to stir things up,,not that SHE would... I think this would be a good thing to also have to hand out to any possible newcomer so that they can immediately see a visual of what things the VR groups do and each copy could include a small write up on how to become a VR member....Maybe even a line for the VR member handing it them to sign so we know who brought them to the VR site.. OPPS,I see another contest coming: who can get the most members to join.

Well you could ship your bike and purchase a plane ticket... One day there, and one day back.. Heck, just sell a couple more boats and join us..

Mark, I can help you fix it tonight, or tomorrow for you. Most likely, you need Dialectric grease on the connectors (got to split the fairing) Not a hard ask at all to pull the connector apart and add the grease.. I dont remember, but do you have a back rest on yours? If so, the problem could also be a pinched wire between back rest bracket and rear fender (dont ask me how I know this)...

How long should the dealer need?
Eck replied to ventureblue's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
DITTO ON EVERYTHING SAID!! Yamaha coporate must approve all warrenty work or dealer is out the cost.. You would think the right thing to the Yamaha dealer would alreayd be "corporate approved" to provide the "OK" for any warrenty work up to a certain dollar amount. Like...say...The dealer should have the authority to authorize any warrenty work up that falls into the category of $500.00 to $1,0000...after that, THEN...they must call Corporate to get furter authorization for more $$... I strongly believe in giving the people who work for you, the authority to DO THIER JOB!!! -
Check out Gambler...(trying to squeeze into MY offer are ya...HA) Heck we can both help GaryN out Gambler. You maintain, clean and wax the bike, ...and I'll ride it. And Brad, You can go to the bank that if I ever get up that direction, I will be stopping in to see you and Rhonda and even take you both out for that favorite drink and a meal.! PS Brad, I will be at Kitchener next year for sure, and my wife, son and his wife will be there with me !!

Good luck with whatever it is, and hope you can get back to riding soon. Oh, and if you need some one to take your bike for a ride just to get it out of the garage for you, just let me know. Dagerman, Keep the great ideas coming.....even if your idea may be a repeat idea that occurred here before. You may come up with an idea that no one here has ever thought of. Im always thinking of stuff, and seem to wast many thoughts on things that have already been done, but thats what makes fine tuning an idea and thinking out of the box such a great tools! One thing you will have to pay attention to with your choice of push on light, is that if you over load your trunk, and then close the lid, the light may come in contact with the stuff inside the trunk and the light may come on and you wont know it because the stuff you packed in it is pressing on the "push on lid" of the light.. Just a thought....dont ask me how I know this....

You should be prepared to "suit up" in a moments notice into a one piece or a two piece, "rain suit". That should "suit" your ever chaning weather needs.
