sounds like a possible Head light fuse..?? Possible dirty light switch..??? Broken wire / loose connection, but I doubt it.. -
Stopped at intersection on my Honda 450. Noticed a small piece of 2 x 4 laying in the road that was about 3 ft long. I turned around and told the cager behind me I was going to stop in the intersection, and throw the board off the road. He waved OK. Light turned green, I pulled up next to/ over the board, stopped, straddling the bike I reached down to pick the board up and dropped my bike, got off the bike, threw the darn board, grabbed my bike, yanked it upward and yanked so hard I threw the bike over in the other direction and dropped it again..Walked around the bike, stood it up, got on, started it and rode off..... Talk about looking like a complete idiot...

Most all my rides are that way LA. I really enjoy them too I get up early and head off going by my gut feeling as to heading west, east, north or south.. dont care where the roads takes me.. The road your GPS led us to that morning we went south of Ft. Collins where the GPS said there was a road there, (and there was), but it was dirt/ gravel, and we took it anyway. That road ended up being one of the best roads I have ever been on in my life... Found out later that day when we returned to Ft. Collins that the name off that road is "OH MY GOD ROAD"..

Roadkill, I will do my best to have you an answer on the Natchez trace ride by end of this week. I want to do some calling to Natchez Trace info and echk on a couple things first. Hopefully, by end of this week, I will have the Natchez Trace ride dates posted in BOTH...the VR-Rallies and calendar sections of this site.

I have found that most MC sites all are about the same in price .. (average $30 to $40),then you have to pay extra shipping on top of that.. Average $10 more.... I just go to the local Yama dealer and pay thier price (average $35 to $45) and dont have the shipping costs on top of it, and I have them the same day.

My 2 cents...The jacket might be an asset to have, but... According to: According to police, McPhatter was ejected 100 feet, hitting the ground at an impact rate of 140 mph. What was he doing going that fast in the first place? He needs a "straight jacket" if he intends to ride that fast..

Here is how you need to get them off your back... Next time they call, tell the collector that the party they are trying to reach has moved to another part of town, and that you are not at all on speaking terms...then...Give the collector a phone number of someone you dont get along with very well and tell the collector that the party they are trying to reach can be reached at that number and that you know they live there because you see thier "NEW" car parked there all the time..then... tell the collector that they will be told by whoever answers, that the party they are trying to reach DOES NOT live here and to quit calling, but dont believe them...cause you know they do live there.. And if they cant be reached at that number then give them Rednecks cell phone number.....:rotf: ( Hugs Redneck.......)

Dragonrider, Sorry guy, but I dont have anyone that has made a solid commitment that they will ride with me to Memphis..sooooooooo, I may be the only one from Huntsville. Sojourner, Grey Fox, Al, or anyone else...do any of you plan on going? If so, please post here so that Dragon rider and I know one way or the other. Oh, and thanks for the comments guys... now I gotta get back to the shop & work on that eck-stend-a helmet...

I would say it IS NOT the same CHRIP that people here relate to. It would be nice if it was the solution, but some folks have disconnected thier AIS completely and yet thier bike still chirps..

NO.. It will take many oil changes to remove all the synthetic oil though to flush it out... I would not make it a habit to change back and forth on oil types, but if you do it once it will not hurt the engine..constant back and forth will. I just wonder why you would want to do that though??? Yes, Synthetic costs a lot more, but it is a whole lot better type oil than regular oil in my opinion.....
