I received a gift certificate as a Christmas exchange gift at work, and told my wife I will be using it to pick up a pair of battery heated golves this weekend..so either today or tomorrow I will be picking up the gloves While in the store, I was plannng on checking out the vests and socks too...

My conclusion (from searching) on this question are below. Hope they help. Your presented Question: What is the time frame for an insurer to forward payment to a claimant after a settlement on a liability insurance claim? Conclusion: The failure of an insurer to forward a settlement check in a timely manner may be construed as an unfair claims settlement practice pursuant to Insurance Law Most insurance regulation requires an insurer to pay any settlement amount not later than five business days after receipt of the settlement agreement, or from the date of the performance of the claimant of any condition set by such agreement. Most standards for prompt, fair and equitable settlement of claims, including liability claims are: In any case where there is no dispute as to coverage, it shall be the duty of every insurer to offer claimants, or their authorized representatives, amounts which are fair and reasonable as shown by its investigation of the claim, providing the amounts so offered are within policy limits and in accordance with the policy provisions. * * * Every insurer shall pay any amount finally agreed upon in settlement of all or part of any claim not later than five business days from the receipt of such agreement by the insurer, or from the date of the performance by the claimant of any condition set by such agreement, whichever is later, except as provided in the Insurance Law as respects liens by tax districts on fire insurance proceeds. It is unclear, based on the question presented, when the actual settlement agreement was received by the insurer. It also is unclear if the release was a condition of the settlement agreement. The five business days for the insurer to provide payment is triggered by the receipt of the agreement by the insurer or the date of performance by the claimant of any condition set by the agreement. good luck.. PS: You might want to check on this too... Did the settlement check state: Please deposit this check immediately as it will become void after 90 days

Oh well...I'm going back in my box now.. Thanks for the help there Stardbog.. ECK 2002 models have standard 1156 / 1157 2 prong base, Yama is change to 3 prong on 2005 models and Up.As you said 1156 /1157 will work on newer models if one nipple is grainded down.

I have not heard from one of my siblings for my birthday, fathers day or Christmas for about 10 years.... I always remember him, but for some reason, he dont send me a card or a phone call...but one of these days, I will miss his day on purpose and see what happens... Wonder if they really know who I am...

If I remember correctly, the "BASE" of the stock light bulbs are different than the BASE of the 1157 / 1156 bulbs. There is a thread some place ( I'm looking for it), about grinding off one of the little posts on the base of the 1157 or 1156 bulbs, to where either will work in the stock light socket..

My worst present ever recevied was a cheap, clear, plastic box with a sap on lid. Inside were (3) "small" clear plastic bottles with screw on caps, one for soap, shampoo, and conditioner. A small sample bottle of mouth wash, a kids tooth brush, and a small sample tube of toothpaste.. This was a "package deal" that was purchased from the dollar store, and the dollar store price tag was still on it...$1.00 It was a childs toy type "travel bag"........ Now here is the real kicker.. It was given to (us) from a "well to do" neighbor...who we exchanged gifts with for years.. needless to say, that was the last year we ever exchanged gifts.. Oh, we got them a BBQ grillware set, a full tank of gas for thier grill, a three pack of BBQ sauses, and a gift certificate for $25.00 at Wal-mart... What an even exchange huh....... Damn, I feel cheated..but hey, they say its the thought that counts... (BS........!!!!!!!!! )
