  1. If it is only a very small chip, you can use: "CLEAR" RTV sealant...or Clear Scotch Tape..or....... You can change out the lens by purchasing a lens from one of these places and changing your broken lens out. I can explain more in detail on how to do this in P-email if your interested. http://www.gcustoms.com/product_info/category_id/3/subcategory_id/92/products_id/5914/ http://www.davesport.com/cgi-bin/davesport/920H.html http://www.realtruck.com/productline/1041/1/1/rampage_products_jeep_replacement_headlamp_conversions.html

  3. Hell, he looks like me riding a black venture with out a helmet... It appears the eyebrows are removed, but not sure, and I do see some added accessories like the light bar, chrome domes over headlight and turn signals, shorter windshield, and riding pegs.. heck, it may be a rental??

  5. I would not trust any chock that was not securely fastened to the floor of the garage, truck or trailer bed.....

  7. ....now that would be a sight to see.............. bet they will think twice before doing that again.
  8. Besides looking loike they would hit the road surface on twisties, they also look like they were installed backwards....... Should they not be turned around 180 degrees so that your heal would fit in the half-round end??? I mean look at the direction of the floor board in the photo and then the direction of the heal support.. It sure looks back wards to me?? And for the price.........I dont think so.......
  9. Hey, the guy is no nut case.. He is right..I know he is cause he has his own web site..(see below) The United Kingdom has granted a patent to Canadian inventor Randall Dale Chipkar for his innovative 'electromagnetic shielding motorcycle seat'. The invention is designed to shield motorcycle electromagnetic field radiation from penetrating the rider's vital organs. Check out his web site: http://www.motorcyclecancer.com/ What this means to you: Considering the outsized risks just from riding, whether or not your privates are being electromagnetically toasted probably is the least of your worries. — Bill Visnic, Correspondent http://www.strangenewproducts.com/uploaded_images/motorcycle-cancer-seat-shield-731437.jpg Ok, while you looking at wierd things... here is another NEAT idea on the market: Batter Blaster is probably going to change the way pancake batter is sold. This probably needs little explanation: Just shake the can, point it to a hot griddle, and push on the nozzle. Not sure why this hasn't been thought of earlier. The nutrition label says each can contains 8 servings, and it's carries the USDA "Organic" stamp. The Batter Blaster website comes with a video showing you how to use this. It also has instructions on how to cook pancakes. There's also a store locator, but I couldn't find any stores sellings this in the Southern California area where I live. So I typed in a San Francisco zip code (94102), where the company is located, and a bunch of stores came up. Visit Batter Blaster online at... http://www.batterblaster.com
  10. Your welcome Frogman, Hey, if you do get the one off ebay, you could also try to fix the old one for a spare by possibly making a plastic repair using this method: http://wiki.vfrworld.com/index.php/Plastic_Repair

  12. Well Im not sure if it is the bike (or me) that has the sweet spot, but when its moving anywhere between 1mph and 70mph, I think we both become so deeply attached we enjoy the ride Cruiseing when the odometer is set on 70mph (running actually 65), mine runs it's best and smoothest..
  13. Looks like all you 1st gen people will have one more really good mechanic to help you guys along when your down.. By time he gets this bike back together he should be able to fix most anything wrong with a 1st gen..
  14. Man, times sure have changed around here.. I remember when I had mine...I caught "H" for hauling my bike.. But as soon as I sold mine, heck anyone can get one and not be razzed about it... Roadkill, they sure come in handy. I had mine fixed up fairly nice inside and used it as a camper...Heck, at Eureka Springs two years ago, I was the only one who had a coffee pot for coffee in the mornings.. Have fun with it.
