When you go to reinsert drive shaft will it slide all the way in and still not be connected right YES JOHN, you can put the drive shaft back in and yet it may not be connected like it is supposed to be. I highly reccomend you place the bike in netural after you insert the drive shaft. and then by grabbing the rear end of the drive shaft, turn it. This is if you still have the rear tire off... You will be able to tell if you have it connected quickly If it is not connected correctly, you will be able to turn it until it binds . If it does bind, you know right then that your not in right.. If it turns and turns and you can feel the transmission turning in netural, your in right:thumbsup2:

I always try to pull to, or point in the direction of, the left side of any vehicle that is in front of me at a stop sign / red light, in the case I have to dart out of the way.. I surely do not want to be pinched between two vehicles on a bike..

Not sure this is what your telling him to get, but if it is I found the below comment on thier web site. You might want to check this out if this is the product your telling him to get... Maybe they changed thier product since this was posted, but I would think they would tell us they changed...??? click on link below, then click on frequently asked questions (under support section) then in the "coverter sectoin" click on "can a hoppy converter be installed on a motorcycle to pull a trailer... http://www.trailerwiring.com/ Question: Can a Hoppy®converter be installed on a motorcycle to pull a trailer? Answer: Hoppy converters are not designed to recognize the variety of lighting systems on a motorcycle. We reccomend you contact your local motorcycle dealer.

Glad to see and hear you can tell us about it. Could have been a car or 18 wheeler coming the other direction....but either way it could have been a lot worse.. Hope you both heal up like new again. Hope you find all the parts you need to rebuild it Steve.

Kreg, I'm certainly happy to hear that Jane was able to return home. It definately should make things easier for the both of you. Taking care of one another ..in sickness and in health..was a promise once made and now the time is here to prove you meant it. Hang in there bud, and tell her I wish her well and hope she is on the road now to a speedy recovery so you both can once again enjoy a nice ride.. and with out the "I-V"...

Hey guy,
I have sent several emails out about the light bar spacer and only one guy said he would be interested in buying one.
That is a long way away from what we need..
I was also strongly asked by another member not to post them for sale, because it would only cause a conflict with the other VR member who has been making them for a long time now and sells his for $39.00 to any VR member, but then he also lists them on ebay trying to make more from other people not related to VR.Org.
I didnt know he sold them to VR members for $39.00
So my friend, I think we may as well drop the idea of having the spacers made...
