Jobster, My chair slide 3 feet back on that one.. Im awake now.......
  7. Bill, If I lived a little closer, I would meet up with you for a 6am ride. There is nothing like a very early morning ride as one watches the fog hovering across mountain tops, then slowly disapearing as it clears the way for the warm rays of the sun to beam down on all that chrome. Ah yes, I can feel it now.............
  8. Jeff, Sorry I can not help you out of the free parts exchange list. I have forward floorboard replacement rubber pads for a 2nd Gen, but no floor boards at all, or I would ship them to you today.
  9. This ought to be interesting. Keep us posted.
  10. Maybe this is what your looking for...? http://cubfaq.com/HydroFilterX.html This site may be of help with other things on your Cub: http://cubfaq.com/questions.html
  11. Looks like a B-52 coming at ya.............
  12. One possibility could be the tread on the Dunlop tire that makes the sound your talking about. Does the sound seem to disappear when you lean from one side or the other? Another possibility could be the favorite whine that you will see many here talk about. Some change clutch baskets to try to eliminate it. You can also page down to the bottom of this page and read other posts about rear end sounds and noises. One of the posts may explain exactly what your talking about.
  13. DUH......... I saw (did some test pieces to figure out the right time) and really didnt see the 30 minutes... so I was asking what was the "right time"... I will wake up from now on before I post... (That was around 3:30am this morning)
  14. I didint intend to express that much love now..
  15. WOW sorry about your card troubles...I hate hearing stories like that. Not so sure I would want to catch a person using someone elses card steeling thier identity and such.. I think I would feel I would have to take the law in to my own hands and cut off his arms and legs so he couldnt get out to do it again... then I could throw him in the lake and rename him to........ BOB...
  16. Bluesman, I used to have lights on my bike that changed 7 different colors. Caught a lot of frowns and strong comments from some Stateboys including some of the local police because the lights had blue and red ...which is a no-no... (imitating an emergency vehicle they say) .. I purchased mine form Auto Zone... a lot cheaper then where your looking to purchase from. If you can, stop by your local Auto Zone and check out all the LED lights they carry. I was at one again Sunday, and they carry many chrome decorations that would work great on the stock air covers on the RSV... and they carry many different types of LED lights (all colors too)... Dont know why, but Auto Zone is going all out on LED lights and chrome acessories. In fact, the one I was at Sunday also started carrying individual chrome letters..
  17. As you wish......
  18. Now that looks great...GOOD JOB..!! James quote: ...........then warmed up the piece in the oven at 270 for 30 min (did some test pieces to figure out the right time). Jim, How long did you leave it in the oven (time)..? Im looking at making some molded plastic parts myself. Been reading about it on line for a while now on how to do it.

    Im Safe

Great to hear your safe and doing OK Clay. May God Bless you and your family and grant you a safe journey
  20. Murph, Check the back side of the oil container and look at the "API circle". Make sure it does NOT say "Energy Conserving" (which most do) as it is the additives in energy conserving auto oils that can cause problems with motorcycle wet clutches.
  21. Greg, Have a question on your bike... In the first three photos, it appears the engine fins are diamond cut, but I can not tell for sure if they are or if it is just the photo. In picture 7 they still look diamond cut, but then again, I am not sure if its only the photo/ lighting. If the fins are diamond cut, thats another $400.00 more the previous owner gave you...
  22. Glad you were able to get a ride in to help with the..PMS. I really dont like that bitter chill in the morning when starting off on a good ride.... sorta makes me feel cold all day..
