Jerry, I spoke with Beer30 just the other day (by phone), and he said he and 24/7 are working thier butts off, and coming home late, not doing much on the computer or even wanting to watch TV. Just thought I'ld let you know.......it may be a while before you get an answer. If it's urgent you speak with him, you may want to call him. His phone number is listed in his profile..

removed cassette, added gauges......done
Eck replied to jlh3rd's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
When I was at the Greenville, Sc bike show I spoke with a rep form KOSO Gauges, because they had a display of many different gauges at the show. I asked him if they had a "VOLT Meter" and he said they are coming out with one to check their website. So I just did and if you click on the document below you can read about it. The gauge is: 46 millimeters in length which converts to 1.811 inches The gauge is: 26 millimeters in height which converts to 1.023 inches The gauge is: 12 millimeters in thickness which converts to 0.472 inches I am not pushing their product, but they have many motorcycle gauges: http://www.kosonorthamerica.com/ -

Yep, I have to agree with Freebird on this one. You sure have a lot of extra's on that thing for 10K.... I noticed you even have the engine covers diamond cut.. The Bike looks exceptional ..and should sell fast with that price tag.! Sorry you have to sell it, but I think "big" of you for doing what is necessary to provide for the new child on the way and your wife & family. You sound like a man with a big heart and one who knows how to get his priorities straight!

Ruffy, Sure glad your getting back to normal. (well, I'll leave that one alone for now) Hope your able to walk and do things like a new man when its all over and all healed up. Look forward you seeing you again down the road soon! And do what the Dr. says.....!

You set up two rows like this so 2 challengers can compete with each other at same time. Take two 8 ft long 2 x 4's and place them end to end in a straight line. Each Challenger pulls their bike up to where the front tire is touching against the end of the first 2x4. not on the 2x4 but touching it, and they are at a complete stop, in line with the 2 x 4's On command, the challengers are to let their clutch out and see who can ride the FULL LENGTH of the two end to end 2 x 4's without either tire falling off and touching the pavement.

If you are only going camping for the weekend, you can always box up and drop ship your camping stuff directly to the camp ground. It will be there when you arrive. Box it back up and have UPS pick it up and ship it back to your place.. Might cost a little more than what you want, but you will be riding SAFER then you would be if yo packed everything on your bike and not know the handling of it with 2 up...

I have a set off my 05 that you can have for shipping costs. Please note that I cut the cones off the forward end so could I could attach the cones to the HD mufflers I installed on my bike. These stock mufflers are like new, but now have 3 teeny-tiny holes where the 3 weld areas are that held the cones on. You could have someone put a tiny spot of weld in the holes (like they originally were) and if you have an old set off mufflers with cones on them you can take those cones off and pop rivet them on these like I did on the HD mufflers..If you pop rivet along side the 3 weld spots you dont even see the pop rivets.. Those that have done the pop rivet mod on HD mufflers, know what I am talking about.
