Bill, My wife and I have cabin 12 rented which is very close to the camping grounds. More then likely, my wife will be driving the cage, so you can bet we will be LOADED for with everything from the house....... I will have a coffee pot on the picnic table ready each morning around 5am for you both Styrofoam Coffee cups will be also provided. So now you can travel even lighter now Bill, because I will be bringing the coffee, filters, creamer, sugar and cups with me.. So.......What kind of coffee do you like?

Trailering is a part of my life. Reason is, my wife doesnt like to ride much. I want to be with her on some of our weekend excursions, so I will trailer my bike to the place we are going for the weekend. Once there, I will get up early and ride off while my wife hits the stores and shops in that town / area. When I get home from riding, she always has a place in mind of where she would like to enjoy dinner. Off we go (in the cage) to dinner and spend the evening together enjoying each others company and other interests. Next morning I am off again on the bike enjoying what I like and later on in the day I will meet up again with my wife for another evening of shared interests. Trailering my bike is a must for me.....and if trailering my bike offends anyone, Im sorry, but I enjoy my wife and understand her feelings when it comes to riding my bike. I really enjoy sharing different interests with my wife.

Skid, I sue hope you and your better half can make it to Vogel. I look forward to seeing you both again. It seems the only place we get to meet is at Vogel.... Does you wife sill collect the little piggies......?

Would love to attend George, but I just cant make this one..just got back from MD at Freebird's, and some guy (Josh is all I know) offered me a free crash bar for my wing and I have to pick it up tomorrow (Friday), so I will be tearing mine apart Saturday to remove the banged up one and replace it with this new one.

Sure glad you two are OK... By the looks of the "length" of that tree, it was able to gain a whole lot of speed by time it actually hit your house..If the tree was about 20 feet closer, I think your kitchen would have part of the tree trunk in it, and that beautiful kitchen counter top that George got you would have to be replaced......... All in all, you guys were definitely lucky that you were not at home when it hit, because one or both of you could have been hit by the busting glass....... Hope all goes well with insurance man.

You may want to "page down" (to simular threads) and then you can read all the other posts related to Ipod mounting.. There may be some help in one of those postings..

You might want to try Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, your local Radio shack, and even an electronic shop/ store in your area...They all have a good selection of screws.

Zumo 7200......... Has a 7.5 inch screen, MP3, speaks - turn by turn, VERY easy to read screen. Not water proof, but a clear plastic sandwich bag with a potato chip bag spring clip sure cures that...and you can still touch the screen through the plastic bag and it works..

Im like BOO on how something that big can get into a tire..It is beyond me.. I once had a pair of sissors in my tire... ????????? The handles were broke off but BOTH sharp edges were in my tire.. ex-wife maybe..?? -
I'll piggy back on this thread too. I made it home Monday around 11am. I stopped in lower KY and spent the night so that I didnt have to push myself to get back home in one day. Had a blast.... Worked on 4 bikes, carbs and rear brake pad &R for show only..Met many new members and lots of alreay known members. I'm already looking forward to next year... I will never stay at Motel 6 again though....

Don, I too want to thank you and your entire family for hosting such a wonderful event. Had a blast. Worked on a few bikes and had lots of time to meet & greet with family. I arrived back home (Monday) after spending a night in KY. I found that this is the way to do the MD trip by taking two days up and two days back. It sure makes me feel better and I am not slap worn out.. Look forward to doing it again next year, but i will not be staying at Motel 6............

There are many ways to customize your bike and I truthfully would rather see you try a better way then to use a BUCK.. You enjoyed 480 miles of great riding and ended it with out any bodily harm.....That is the good news.....turning this incident over to your insurance company may cost you more later on. Are there that many parts damaged that you cant fix it yourself, or do you feel the front end is totaled...? I mean a light bar and a mirror and maybe a few other items I would think about just fixing it and not telling my insurance company, but you know what the bikes damage is.. Im just rambling.. Glad your OK.........
