Banging noise in fairing

You might could check the air pressure in the front tubes. Should be 3 to 5lbs max Use hand pump and not an air compresser or you could blow the fork seals. The large black rubber connectors inside the fairing may be the culprit....and you can check to see if the cassette player is not loose in its bracket behind the head light bracket. One other thing is check the large nut under your handle bars and make sure it is tighten per spec.. -

I saw this about a year ago........it caught my attention, but truthfully, the RSV would be able to pull a car also, but it sure would be hard on the clutch and brakes.. I would never tow a car with a motorcycle anyway. Its bad enough trying to stop when some jerk pulls out in front of you and I cant imagine stopping in time with a car pushing me down the road.. The Burgman would get better gas mile though....if it could get moving..

Lewis, I am so sorry I wont be able to support you in this years run to Memphis, for as you know Blackjack and I had some plans already made for the same day / date. Lock smith can make keys for it and so can Dealer.. I take it that contacting the previous owner for set of keys is out of the question..???

Good to hear from you Jeff. Hope you find somwthing worth while to drink over there.. If you see anything small that you and bring back that is made by Coke a Cola, I'ld sure appreciate it. I have a Gold Wing and let me tell you straight up... The seat sucks and isnt worth a dang.. I rode 13 hours one day and the next day I rode 14 1/2 hours straight on my 05 Venture . If I ride more then two hours on this GW, my butt is killing me..I have to stop and walk around to get the blood circulating in my cheeks, or I have to stand up on th efoot pegs and do cheek exersises......... I use the beads and a padded seat and niether is worth a darn.. Nothing helps with the wing seat. You can read up on Gold Wing seats on most any Gold Wing Site and you will find most every honest rider does state they do not like the comfort of the GW seat.. So dont think looking at a Gold Wing you will be able to ride longer... It would be a very expensive mistake...........

No need to worry my friend.... it is one of those dont do as I do but do what I say things.. I feel lucky......I pulled it 75 mph to Ohio and didnt know it was there...and at one time 105mph..and that was stupid...but I wanted to see if there was a difference or if it wagged behind me which it did not.. And once I disconnect it, we can see who can keep up..... !!! I am soooooooo looking to Thurdsday and this coming weekend... You guys ride safe to Birmingham.. see you there. Eck

Glad you guys made it home safe and that you both enjoyed the trip Goose. Hey, not trying to steel the thread here but need to ask you a question Goose. Yes to answer both questions... I have known members to have thier rear shcok removed that did not remove the trailer hitch, however, if you happen to have the old frame bar then I would remove th ehitch so it eliminates any chance of hassel from the dealer.. but you do not have to.. this is just my opinion. The dealer will replace the shock under warrenty.
