Check to see if you have a white powder looking substance on the aft end / inside of your mufflers on one side or both sides.. If you do then your probability of problems can be anywhere from water in your oil, oil in your water, a possible blown head gasket or a cracked head. You should NOT have a white goop looking substance in your cooling system period..

Just my opinion..and I'm sure others will have theirs.... Riding by yourself = 3 lbs front and 25 lbs rear Riding with passenger = 3 lbs front and 25 to 30 lbs rear

I just called Japan / Yamaha.. and spoke to Mr. Ya Maha .......... He said they don't know anything about this rumor, and anything posted on a Goldwing site about a Yamaha RSV is most likely a competitive posting to sell more GW's... I tend to believe him Mr. Ya Maha myself..............

Hey Skid, I have something that may be of interest to you... and then again it may not be. I noticed your 2nd gen has the chrome domes on the tank and seats. I happen to have a black leather rear trunk bib off my wrecked 05 venture that has the chrome domes and if your interested in it, I'm sure you could have it for a very minimal cost. If your interested in it just email me, or you can call me. My cell phone number is in my profile Here are a couple pics of the bib on my bike which should give you an idea of what it would look like on yours.

Jack, I didn't hear a word that you were in a wreck last Friday. However, I am very happy you were able to walk away from yours. You had a beautiful bike too, but as time goes by you will learn to let it go. When I lost mine I thought OMG.. there wasn't another like it in the world to me, but now I have another bike and I am happy with it as well. You will find another one and be happy again too. Glad to see your already wanting another one as well..I bought mine the following weekend after my wreck and couldnt ride it for 4 weeks..ha Just so glad you are ok my friend.

Well Gene, Here is another side of me not many know.. I used to play a string in a band that travels around to different churches and played gospel music on Friday and Saturday nights. There were four of us in a group from one church and we played at many churches and on the back porch on Sunday afternoons.. It's been a long long time since my finger tips were tuned up too....they burn like heck starting out. with your efforts.. Oh, and if Becky needs some ear plugs I know where she can get some cheap....

No power to bike

check kill switch, kickstand switch, is it in gear, or the main fuse... -
good news Dan.. Im happy for you.. I know you have been through a lot..

In my opinion, I would have to say it is VERY cool... A whole lot of engineering went into that thing and I commend the person(s) for their ingenuity..You can bet it was not designed and put together in a week.. All the wiring harnesses had to be extended let alone the frame. Panels designed and machined, formed and made.. Lots of design work in it.

Goose, Can you copy a DVD into a CD? and...while doing so, are you able to stop at a certain point on the DVD and then fast forward to another section, to eliminate a certain part of the DVD that I do not want on it? If so, I am very much interested.........

I would think being that far down, Yamaha will be somewhat reluctant to invest in anything bigger (cc wize), or make any changes to what they already have.
