1rooster, Everyone is gathering at the Red Roof Inn (located in PF)., at 9am for breakfast. Those not wanting to eat will be meeting up at 9:30am at same place. I am sure we will still be here at 10am and hopefully you get this message and yuou arrive on time.. Heck, Leave now... Eck

Well, we made it to the Red Roof Inn in Pigeion Forge I made a grand entrance too... I was un-tying my bike from the trailer and yep, you guessed it,.. The darn bike fell over in the trailer and scratched the heck out of the right side bag and fairing.. Good news is... It did not break any of the tupperware...and it can be repainted.. and I can still ride it.. I mean it could have fell over and broke something where I couldnt ride it at all now.. so my luck isnt all that bad.. Oh I am upsety about it, but I have to be thankfull that that is all that happened.. Sleeperhawk and Bobbie made it here, and so did B2dad and B2mom.. Hope to see more join us aroubnd 6pm.. Eck

Breakfast time and ride has yet to be determined, but I would think most would want to get an early start since we will be riding over the mountain into NC on a most of the day ride. If you want, just come on in to the Red Roof Inn. You could have coffee and breakfast with me as my guest, and I am certain a few of the others will be sitting there. I will be in the lobby at 6am.. or I will be out in the parking lot with coffee in hand watching my GW clean itself....

Tell him he is more then welcome and he can ask for me when he gets to the Red Roof Inn. Maybe you guys can join us Saturday morning for breakfast and a ride....but that would be a long day for you after working Fri night. Sorry, I/m just a little excited I guess and want EVERYONE to show up..ha

I (we), have not made any dinner plans anywhere with anyone. I was going to wait for who shows up at Red Top Inn around 6pm, and let the group decide where they all want to go. Chop house is fine with us..but it really doesn't matter to me where we go. Would love to meet up with you and Shirley too Mike. Ride safe!

I guess we are all meeting at the Red Roof Inn... We plan to be there around 2pm Friday Dennis and Valerie will arrive sometime around 5:30pm I guess, and Sleephawk should arrive.. heck who knows when he will get there, it's their anniversary and they may make several stops before arrive there.. but he did say they may take half a day off of work so they could leave a little earlier so we could all meet up for dinner.. Just give me a call when you get into P-Forge.

Dang... Our timing just isnt right... Leaving for Sarasota Fl, then after visiting my parents, we are heading to the Grand canyon, then on to Yellowstone and the black hills. Wish you and ll traveling with you a very safe trip filled with many enjoyable memories.. Eck

Monty, I do not know if the shop is open on Saturdays, but I would think so since it is an elderly man working out of his huge garage...right next to his house.. The bike is located here: His name is: Leo 7627 Asbury Glimp Road Ripley, Tn. Phone: I sent it to you via p-email I called LA to see if he has already made arrangements and am waiting for his return call.. Hold tight, and lets see if anyone else can help.. Colesgrandpa sent me a p-email and has offered to take the bike to him if someone could meet him in Conway Ar, but I think that would be out of the way to head south to meet up with him in place of just heading west to LA's house. Thanks anyway Raymond. I appreciate your effort and stepping up to offer your help!!!

Yep, I spoke to him last night and he is feeling much better. Hopefully the Doctors will have his carb adjusted where it beats the correct fuel to his body and mind, and then look out.. When I was at LA place last week to pick up his bike, we both were talking about taking a ride when they get his heart beat straightened out. I told him I would be willing to go where ever, whenever with him.. He said one thing that was very touching that you people didn't get to hear. He said: I have about 200 plus names saved in my GPS and once I get back on the road, I would like to go visit as many of those people that I can.. I found out his bike is now fixed and LA is looking for a way to get it back to his place now.. Sooooooooo, I was wondering if there was a way some of the readers here could tag it from one town to the next to get it to him..???? He has a 2 inch ball..on his trailer..and I left him all my ratchet tie-downs so he can tie it down to the trailer. I will get my tie downs some time from him at a later date.. So folks, do we have anyone in western TN (north of Memphis) who could pick his bike up and take it to a town west and meet up with another person and so on to get him his bike back? If not, I will go get it and take it back to him, but I cant do it for about two weeks from now. Please send me a P-email if you can help out..thanks!!!

Hey Denise, Couple questions my friend.. Have you made reservations anywhere yet? Let me know where so I can make reservations at same place if possible. What time Friday do you think you will be in Gatlinburg or pg-birdforge... Konnie and I will leave Friday to meet up with you. Looking forward to seeing you both again. Oh, I will have to trailer my bike there but so what.. I think Konnie's idea of riding is has something to do with the outlet malls too..

Well, I hate to admit this one but.. I was loading my new 05 Venture into my brand new enclosed trailer with out the trailer being connected to my truck or using jack stands..Oh yea.. what a mess i was in.. I pulled partially into the trailer, made sure my windshield would clear the header section, tucked my head down a little and slowly proceeded inward.. Next thing I knew the ramp door was flat on the ground and the trailer was on about a 75 degree angle upward.. I was scared to death that the trailer was going to snap upward where the trailer hitch was pointing straight up in the air boxing me in...my wife was screaming "what can I do what can I do.....I yelled get back....gave it all the throttle she had and peeled out forward. The tongue slammed down against the cement driveway as my front tire hit the forward wall of the trailer.. I hit the kill switch and just sat there checking for dampness and warm objects in my pants..
