    Need to remove two nuts on drivers seat...and then remove two nuts on passenger seat.. very simple.. If you need help give me a call or come on over. or I may be able to come to your place. I'd be happy to change them out for you.

    Same as tew47... Everytime it rained we would loose the signal.. When a storm was approaching, the signal would go out and always left us "in the dark" so to speak as to where the storm was or how bad it was getting.. I have cable now...and must also rent the stupid boxes to use it... They are all a scam..

    I had the dyna beads installed in my new GW sneakers, but I can not hear them roll around when I spin the tire..? You would think one would be able to hear the beads rolling around...? As for regular weights on a bike tire... After the tire wears down some, say 3,500 miles on it or so,,,the tire is no longer in true balance, and I am certain that most everyone here reading this, who has weights on their tires, NEVER takes the wheel off to have it rebalanced during any part of the wear period of the tire that is mounted on it...I would think only those who may happen to have a tire changer would do this... So, what do you think??

    All Goldwing speedometers are off about 5 MPH also.... It is common on most bikes and some cages..

    Warning / Caution note: One more thing here that I just remembered...well partially remember.... On the left side cover, the AFT #10 Allen head screw is the one you take out (if I remember correctly)..The forward Allen head screw you do NOT touch..it is fake... SOMEONE....please correct me if I am wrong here.. I am trying to remember back about 2 years ago when I had my 05 Venture..

    The clicking sound is a good thing...as the gas is being consumed the fuel pump will click to keep correct amount / pressure in the fuel line.. As beer30 mentioned tap on the outside of the fuel pump with the handle of a screw driver or something. You do not have to beat the snot out of it..just tap it a few times.. This may help you for the short term, and if it does then I would get the pump replaced ASAP..

    If you plan on doing this same type maintenance on your bike again in the future... (say within 1 to 2 years), then I just go ahead and use the Wal Mart lube.... I used Wal Mart lube on my 05 Venture all the time, and it worked fine..

    One rubber washer on top, and one rubber washer inside with flat washers on top of each.. I covered the areas of the four legs with masking tape so as not to scratch the paint while laying it out.. I put tape on the bottom of each leg, and carefully laid it on the trunk, centered it by eye best I could, then placed 4 pieces of masking tape on the trunk under each leg. I drilled through the tape and trunk, then removed the tape from the trunk, but not the spoiler until I knew the holes lined up. The two aft holes must be drilled on a slight angle to line up properly.
