  1. Well, If I lived a little closer, I would meet you half way and geter done for you, but that's out... Not sure of any places down there. Only been in Miami once and that was back in 1971...and I only remember a couple of the nights there. the rest are blank..but colorful
  2. Not sure, but I thought I saw it hanging on Freebirds garage wall at last years MD.. But then again , maybe that was the one used at Vogel..?
  3. I'm afraid you may be mistaken.. we are way to relaxed, but I hope it is me who is wrong my friend... Many of them live within our boarders now, and there are many more coming over and setting up camp on our land. It's only time before they strike again...they wont stop just because this guy is dead..I'm wiling to bet they had a talaban meeting last night welcoming their new ,and in thier pain of loss, making plans on thier next move(s) against us. They will strike again..and when they do it it will be severe and impacting as 9/11... ........probubly much worse...
  4. US has custody of his body................. Hope someone is monitoring our boarders........ the end of a new beginning..
  5. Glad to hear your OK...and all is well.. That is exactly how I lost my beautiful 05 RSV.... and almost my life..
  6. Looks like an early model type of sound vibrator used on a cows utter to help relax it and whre it can ease the flow of milk.... EDIT: I truely had no idea what in the world it was and just posted the above to see who would bite..ha
  7. I have seen some fine looking weaving and brading here in the south....figure they must spend hours at it. Even seen several different colors mixed in too, but I have always been curious as to how OFTEN they take it apart so they can wash all that hair.. Now with that in mind.... Maybe there is a family of this culture in your neck of the woods that has an offspring with braided weaves on thier head and you could stop and ask the lady sitting on the porch if she would be interested in helping you and making a few bucks.... Word of caution here: Stay out from between her and that ugly looking spit can on the floor when she is about to answer you.. No really, I meant you could stop by your local ladies hair coloring salon and see if one of them could give it a go...
  8. Ok, I am all done installing a new bushtec wire harness on the bike. Got it all wired in and no sparks..all lights worked first time.....love it when a plan comes together.. then I moved on and installed the new upgraded MP3 player... it works GREAT...!!! Simple installation too. Took me 20 minutes...had to remove the seat, snap the connector in place and put the seat back on...then velcrow it in place in the trunk. I like it........ Now I am ready to go some place...but I have to work..Yuk..
  9. Not sure, but knowing Eddie and like he has done with just about everything else on his bike, he may have had these tires chromed .... or painted with blue stripes to match his paint job...
  10. Herb, Fed-Ex came by here early this morning..The called me first to see if i would be home.. I was certailny suprised.. They droppped off my new updated MP3 unit, and a wire harness for my bike so I can plug into my new trailer. Tomorrow, I will be installing both.... Hey herb, I have a suggestion when you go to install your luggage rack..If you place a piece of sarran wrap over your trunk, it will prtect your trunk from scratches and you can see through it as to where you will need to drill..
  11. Mel, Your lights are looking great there guy...Guess I have to start catching up...ha Im not going to add abunch to this GW... I plan on getting another one soon when I find what I am looking for, so I dont want to put a bunch into this one.

  14. Hope all goes well Ruffy. My wife went through haveing both knees replaced at the same time a year ago. She is a LOT better now.. Hope your ressults are the same or better.. Hey, if you need someone to take care of that bike for ya, I know a guy who would at least wax it for you once every 2 months..That is IF it was in Charleston, Sc until you can ride it again..
  15. Lookin good there Dennis.... There is one thing Goldwings have and that is a whole lot of choices in accessories. Once you start, you wont stop until you realize how much you spent..$$$$$$$ Since I have had my GW, I added: (1) 7 inch screen GPS..After a year it went bad..that was $400.00 wasted... (1) 5.4 inch Garmin from Wall Mart - $130.00 (1) Wal Mart seat pad for $20.00 And a used Bushtec trailer $x,xxx.xx I added some items I removed off my wrecked RSV, but only a few items at that were salavageable. I am done..........
  16. The "stock" side stand is not adjustable. I have no idea if the side stand you have is the actual stock side stand. I would verify this first and if it is not, then try to locate a stock side stand. If it is and you want to lengthen it, you could prop or tie your bike up in a standing position using tie down straps to the rafters in your garage (or simular idea you come up with), and lean the bike over to the position or angle you wish it to be. Then put the kick stand in the down position. Measure from the bottom of the kick stand to the floor/ ground. this will tell you how much longer you need to make yoru side sand. You can then remove it and take it to a weld shop. Have them cut it in half, then weld a piece in the middle thus making it the length you need, grind it smothe and paint it black again and your in buisness.

    My aching back

Hey Ken, sorry to hear of your pain and ailment. Hope the results from your Dr., finds you well again soon.
  18. Keep in mind, the side "ribbed" air panels provide an extra cooling effect to the engine heads..along with the coolant in your radiator. I hope they dont get to hot if / when riding in real hot weather.. like 90 plus degrees... I would like to see the pics when you can get them loaded up..
  19. I work with a man who is a 5th degree black belt.. He also teaches.... one bad dude....but he is a good friend of mine thank God..
