Glad to hear all of you guys are doing ok..Hope your electric comes back on soon too. We had lots of smaller branches down and some roadway flooding in the lower areas, but all is very close back to normal here in Charleston...Even I'm almost back to normal..just ask me... This morning, I took a ride along the beach in Folly Beach, Sc which is a little south of Charleston and it had a lot of branches down and people were stacking them along the road and just cleaning up the after math. Had a lot of sand across the roadways where flooding occurred, but he water was gone when I was there. Just a lot of sand remains on the road, which made it a little difficult to ride the bike in...

WE ARE RIGHT ON THE COAST OF DANIEL ISLAND IF ANYONE WANTS TO WAIT IT OUT.. Just kidding... It appears right now that we will not have to evacuate according to the local weatherman, but over the years I have learned not to trust them guys.

You can use just a flat washer and a 2 inch long piece of rubber vaccumm hose on each side...... You can turn the hose to twist it on or off...and it will be very hard to PULL it off.. cheap too..............

We made it home from Vogel..3:15pm.. Cant say anything more then Sleeperhawk said.. just hope everyone gets back home safe.. I'm beat...hot, hot, hot,,,96degrees riding home... My wife Konnie is a real trooper..she hung in there even in the heat.. Speaking of toppers, I met one PITA Trooper this morning.. in fact, he gave me a phone number to call tomorrow, to see how much I will be donating to the town of Hiwassee, Ga.

This weekend at Vogel I will TRY to remind George not to forget anyone..but lately the pour man has had to remind me on a handfull of things..so I may not be to much help. Maybe that is why my wife is riding with me for the first time in three years..She wants to make sure Bobbie isnt left behind... no child left behind..I've heard that some place before..

Radio shack has replacements if I remember right and they had chrome ones too for around $4.00 I had one on my 05 RSV....

Lewis, Just think my friend, you and Charlene will be able to relax NEXT WEEK... Not this week.. You have no time to goof up now...and you still have lots to do yet for this event.. Did you make your reservations.......??? Did you reserve the Pavilion for our lunch? Place the call in for our catered lunch, did you pack your long card table in van, a few chairs, the raffle tickets, the door prizes, T-shirts, Your cold drinks and munchies, copies of daily events..Did you make reservations at the diner for dinner? Did you post another Thread about 2 DAY's TILL VOGEL Do you have your drivers license, insurance card and registration....for van and Bike? (flashlight..?) DID YOU PACK YOUR CLOTHES ... Dang Lewis, I hope your gonna wear clothes this year.. Well, is my pep speech working ...?

Well, I aired up my trailer shocks, aired up the trailer and bike tires and all is in spec there now. I began loading up and packing the trailer with things we will or may need, nut left lots of room for more..And I waxed both the trailer and bike yesterday and filled the tank with gas, checked the oils and all the lights. Oh and I better make sure my wife is packed..I knew I left room in the trailer for a reason.. I sat at the computer and with my GPS in hand, I programmed the shorter route for our ride Saturday. I had a longer route already planned and programed, but made a change for safety reasons... I am ready to go now but this thing called work is killin me.. Now all I hope for is that mother nature to plays well with us for this Vogel event....
