Here is the info on my desk top.. 10 YR old Samsung (maybe 12 yrs old) SyncMaster 570V tft 24/7 tech support doesnt support anymore 3 yr warranty has disappeared Very little drive...... period.. Does not matter if you call it hard drive or soft drive Very moody...does what it wants when it wants on its own time,,not yours. Loves to lock up when you least expecting it Plays one game very well called the "waiting game"...happens about every 2 minutes whether you want to play or not.. Wont let you highlight and copy anything anymore. Takes about two minutes to open a word document..about 4 minutes for Power point Hates PDF files... opens one up once in a while... but loves to partially open the next one and stops right there.. Plays songs real good Plays in a jerking mode on video and movie clips.. or just stops.. All this and 6 months ago I purchased another computer. When I didn't do what I was supposed to do I was placed in the corner, so this newer computer presently sits in the corner on the floor in my Bedroom. It has been there for about a month now and has been cut off of juice..and gets no attention from me at all. It most likely will remain there for a few more months for all I care until it decides to play nice. All I can say is .........Thank GOD for Black Friday...........

broken windshield tabs: Warranty??

Yes they will and should. However, I personally would not trust some yocal yamaha tech to tear my Venture down to replace the inner fariring just because the littel tabs are broke. The fix is very easy to do and will remain repaired (fixed) for years to come. If you choose to let a local Yamaha tech replace your inner fairng, you can bet in about a month those same tabs will be broke again and your right back at square one but "without" warrenty coverage... I would just do the easy fix and for get about it.... Thats my 2 cents... for what it's worth.. -
Thanks for the advance notice every year Don. It works for me, and I now have it on my calendar...

Condor, I looked at your classified ad, and I can not see anything wrong with it. I sent you a p-email containing what it says and if you want it worded differently, just tell me what you want it to say.. I will edit it for you.

It..... Something that may be important -or- may not be important, of concern or not of concern -of- interest or not of interest, when used by an individual describing a person, place or thing. Ok, that is the best I could do with "it":innocent:

If I were going to flush mount one in the floor, I know for a fact it would NOT be a HF lift..I would have to invest in something a lot more sturdy. HF lifts are ok for most needs, but cutting up a cement floor for a HF lift doesnt seem very ..........appealing.......... to me for some reason.

Lowe's / Home Depot has L angle and channel. Sorry, niether will be Chrome or SS.. Suggeestion: Check out the bathroom hardware section for a chrome L angle or part that may work. If you choose the L angel or "U" channel idea here are some helpful install instructions. Cut the L angle or U channel to your aquired length. Locate (twice), mark, inspect then complete any required drilling, deburr Inspect again for proper alignment and location of each part Lightly abraid the surfaces of both part using 180 grit or finer abrasive Clean Cover with (2) coats of grey primer on each item, dry over night. Cover with (20 coats of black (or chrome), dry over night. Install Locate lights and cover them.. Have fun.. Eck

Ruffy, So sorry guy to hear about your knees acting up. Hope something good happens to help you out soon.. My total knee replacement and she is a whole heck of a lot better..but once in a while she still has pain in them, but not nearly as bad it they were. She gets around much better then she did before the replacement. Holding up a cycle is another question though.. I know we I have joked with you many times about being the benificiary on yuor beautiful ride and I would hate to se it go also since you put so much effort and love into it. I know if I was looking for an RSV, you would be getting a call.. I wish you well mmy friend. I too am having some issues with my knees and have been talking to my wife about my future riding...and I am thinking about it daily now. I have had a dream all my life to jump on a bike and ride across this country and parts of Canada for two to three months going in all directions in an effort to find both ends of whatever road I take.. I still hope and pray that dream comes ture some day soon..

Amazing how this is done. It is going to get a lot more crazy as the years pass by us ...Things we thought were COOL when we were younger are going to be nothing to what we see in the near future that comes out by the next generation....!!

I would also check the front tire for being off center on the rim (not seated properly) if you just had it changed...not sure if you did have it changed out.. The rim could also be a bent if you hit a good size pot hole..only you would know.. but most likely the neck bearings are loose as already mentioned..
