The switch next to 12v accessory outlet is more then likely theswitch for your driving lights. You should just go ahead and take the fairing apart to do the job rigth. After you remove the fairing, look on the back side of the push button switch for a red wire..follow that wire and you will most likely find an inline fuse that is blown. After replacing the inline fuse, turn key on and see if ligths work.. push button if you need to.. Once you get them working again, make sure all connections are wrapped with tape so water can not get into them. Tape up the back of the switch also..or use rtv silicone to cover the terminals.Use a Q-tip to spred the RTV around the terminals. Good luck..

We love ours. I cant tell Im doing 70 MPH in it.. It feels like Im doing about 50MPH..Rides real smooth. Cant find good pics of the interior but this pic comes real close..

If you ever get to Iuka and your in the mood for a good steak.. stop in here. They litterly roll the slab of meat out to yoru table, uncover it, thenmwith a sharp knife, they ask you how thick do you want it... The thicker you choose of course increases the price, but then after watching him cut the piece off you can get up and follow him back and watch him actuall y cook the thing.. Corinth has a really Goooooooddddd Donut shop...drule, druel..druel.. Always fresh, warm, and melt in your mouth..It is just a small mom & pop shop, that is on HWY 72, and is one or two buildings away from the intersection of hwy 72 and South Harper Road. If you get to Corinth, you got to try this place out.. if you like fresh donuts now..

Mike, I would like to attend this in support of Sumter Yamaha but I have to work till 1::30pm and by the time I would get there it would be over.. Sleeperhawk also mentioned this to me but I had to tel lhim the same.. Sumter Yamaha did an outstanding job on my front fork tube seals last year.. They even let me watch the mechanic (as a learning lesson) on how to do it myself.. Not many if any would do this... Supper nice guys (and ladies) work there. Enjoy the day........ while I am stuck inside...!!

Ruffy, In the 7 (or so ) years that I have been a VR member, I was only burned once. Was it a misunderstanding..Not at all... When I created and ran the free parts list on the site here a few years back, I was contacted by a member for one of the free parts. Some of you might remember that during that time, I always paid the shipping no matter who it was for or where it was to be shipped. Well this individuale lived in Canada, and I told him I would still pay yhe shipping. It cost me $14.00 to ship the item to him..now rememeber this item was FREE to him.. Well about two weeks later I had a notice on the door of my house stating I had a package at the post office..I went to the P-Offfice and behold, the same exact package I mailed to Canada but it had writting on it stating return to sender..!!! The postmaster said I owed $14.00 for shipping..so now I am out $28.00 plus my time and gas for this FREE item.. I get home and open the box and there was a note inside that stated: Eck, sorry, but I changed my mind...thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh was I ever P-O'd...and yes, that individuale recived a drive by email from me.. I have never had another issue since..and I still would pay the shipping to help someone. All in all there is a VR family trust here. It is expected, recieved and is honored by everyone. Im sorry if you feel you got burnt, but as stated in a posting above, something might have happened to this individuale and he can not contact you right aways..(accident/ hospital..who knows). Hang in there for a little while longer and lets see what emerges out of this.

Randy, Sure hated to read about this, but am certainly glad to hear he is alive. Thoughts and prayers are with him, you and your family in hopes of a full recovery. This will be a riding lesson long rememberd...and hopefully well learned lesson of what not to do.
