Well 10 days in to having the new box, I had to go to Joplin today. So went out fired Tinker up let her warm a bit, and off I went. Wind was blowing a good 15-25 mph on the way up. I took Gateway Drive up to Joplin also known as Hwy 71 full of curves and hills to the final leg which is straight, BORING!!!! I went most of the trip in 5th gear at around 60-65mph climbing hills twist the throttle and I would start climbing the hill and in the dash with ease even with headwinds. So yet I am curious as to where its getting its advance and its performance curve. On side note not craving a cancer stick like I was at this time yesterday. Had a couple puffs yesterday but so far today I haven't so once I start saving money not buying cigarettes I will start the carburetor rebuild, With all the OEM parts I can get. The reason behind that is because those parts are well a little pricey, and just trying to prove a point to myself and I will bet by this summer in July or so I will have them completely rebuilt with the money I save from not smoking. Now I return you to your regular scheduled programming. Ride Safe Everyone

I have had bone spurs in my foot... They never wanted to remove them? Still got my big a$$ boot too that I had to wear, never any talk about removing them. Also had something called schinn splints, got arthritis in my knees so does my mom, My mom has had one replaced but they litterally wait till your bones are starting to wear down before you qualify for that surgery. Don't know why they will not allow for preventive maintenance but allow for full on replacement parts.

Yeah I been trying to understand where he is at and if his brake pedal is even linked to anything. If it isn't I am wondering where exactly it is froze up at so the only suggestion I can go with is what Clive said at this time and pull it completely off clean it up lube it real good put it back together.... -

I know this thread is old, But Awesome. My grandpa used to feed a Black Squirrel where he lived in Davenport. We have also accidently fed these little critters ourselves. We had a Cat that just started coming around and lived under our house so we bought some food well few Raccoons figured out the routine and would come up on the porch after we headed off to bed and eat the Cat food. But that is awesome she is able to feed them like this, does she still do it?

'08 RSTD fuel warning

For as long as Big Daddy Government stays out of my premium I will pay the few extra dimes and run shots of fuel treatment in my tanks, I have an app on my phone that tells me where I can get Non-Ethanol Premium Gas from. I just refuse to put that crap in my Small Engines. But If I have too put Ethanol in my Tank you better believe I double down on the treatments!!! If not more. I so far have gotten lucky and only had to get Ethanol once because the gas stations were out of the Premium. -
Now that I think about it the night I dumped my bike I was trying to make a right on the damn chat gravel.... but did fine up in the parking at the hotel because I was turning left. When I come home I always take the right side of the drive and turn left to turn around and back into my garage. I never really thought about this before.

14-94 is main number from what I was told by the techs where I got my box, my experience if that's the program on it the c after that means third build... That would make sense being you have -11 and if 00 had hiccups... Maybe some issues with 3jj-10 also? Maybe 11 was fine tuned.... I don't have a clue really if any of that's the case. But kind of makes sense.. It might be a silly suggestion but I would see if someone has a 91 with ignitec and use there programming. To see if it makes yours work right. The only thing I can think of is it might be possible to have a bad unit. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.

I am pretty intent on keeping my bike as much stock for as long as I can, minus LED 💡, I just like to fiddle with things, I went ahead and took the plugged vacuum from the spare set of carbs and put it on mine... Now correct me if I'm wrong here but wasn't the 83 the only one with that vacuum line on the carbs? Because these carbs were supposed to be from an 85 venture. Also I need the choke link rod how would I search that on ebay? Can't seem to find one anywhere. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.

Received and email back from technical support, Hello, We got a hold of him via email. "We have never tested the Improved TCI with COPS. So I can't tell if it will work or not. I know that we have experienced problems when there are is no 5k Ohm resistance in the caps or the plugs. The settings (maps) in the new TCI are optimized with no restrictions (full power) so no need to change that I think.... We can change if a customer likes us to do that but they will have to tell us at which rpm he wants less or more spark advantage. Its is not flashable" Best Regards If I remember correctly you can get resistored COPS.....

I never planned to buy those but couldn't resist. I need something to do with my time as I continue to try and quit smoking. You all probably thinking so you buy carbs that you know need to be rebuilt and cleaned to try and quit smoking, but they say Idle hands are the Devils play ground!!! I guess we dodged a bullet last night Prayers up for those who were hit by the Tornadoes. Now off to bed I go have a good night and ride safe everyone!

Prayers that you get better,

Wasnt talking about removing the pedal itself, trying to remember how ours hooks up to the brakes I know its fluid driven but thinking there is a way to move the pedal an adjust it and all that stuff. -

Well have you tried loosening the bolt there to see if the pedal itself will move or if it was stuck. I have had that happen but not on the bike I curently have -

I would invest in safety bracelet kill switch then, Is your brake pedal itself stuck? -
on cars hooked to tow dolly I have always removed the drive shaft, now being a motorcycle I don;t believe that it is that easy to do....
