  1. this set up is very foreign to me.... but where your line hooks up is where my advance goes to.... but right now I have that plugged but have never seen gas come out of there..... all the places and stuff you say you see fuel I have never seen fuel in those places....
  2. thats cool and working on my third day of not smoking here..... congrats dans son!!!
  3. Yeah the bike does hog the trailer I will say that much... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
  4. I will say I thought the chantix commercials were hogwash, but 3rd day in and I went for a walk in the park, could smell things I haven't been able to for a long time. Stuff seems to taste different, better even. Guess it makes a difference when you don't have an ashtray in your mouth. I actually climbed the stairs this morning at the school without coughing and hacking. Didn't feel like I would pass out either!!! Anyways here is something from some of your past that sits on a pedestal at the park. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
  5. I am not gonna swear on the swing arm tho I do remember I had it squatting so I knew it wouldn't come loose.....
  6. the 5x9 utility U-Haul trailer is also made to carry motorcycles, that is what I used for my 83, for the life of me I want to say I used 5 straps.... one across the seat one to the swing arm left side and one to swing arm on right side. The front I got a little creative with, till I was satisfied it wasn't going no where!!! Sorry took no pictures of that adventure it wasn't my proudest moment when I took it to a shop to have someone else work on my bike.... Nothing wrong with it but when you have grown up being taught mechanics and being mechanically inclined it kinda hurts ya pride.... However I wanted someone who knew what they was doing replacing my fork seals.....
  7. I will get with you tomorrow but I should be able to do the shipping its night time I had hard time doing with windshield... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
  8. Trust me I feel your pain and aggravation, However It sounds like one of your bowl needles isn't seating properly, You need to pull air box pull lines off of vents start it up and let it run and see which one is overflowing then you know which one to tackle.
  9. This is the first I heard of these bells... I know I would want 2 or 3.
  10. I have my oem windscreen off my 83 venture, pretty sure it fits but, the reason i replaced it was because of some scratches on it.
  11. I would like 2 at least Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.

  13. I was in Joplin yesterday at 8-9 am had to take my bipap in it quit. That wind up there and the way back was crazy.. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
  14. I would think preventive measure would be cheaper.... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
  15. Um @cowpuc I was not born till November of 77 so nope don't remember the 60's or 70's..... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
  16. How do you ever use all those in one year!!!
  17. It's for E-85 and if anyone reads the warnings it tells you not to use any gas treatments when running E-85.
  18. I remember doing the red ryder at daisy here in town, we had to rework like 5 pallets of them because turkey put the wrong trigger spring in... I remember a pellet gun I also had you could get them sharp pellets for, couldn't do much with it tho. I think the sharp pellets were just for looks. I remember me and a friend playing with air pistols the type you put the cartridge in and we would shoot leaves with just the air in puddles in his dad's junk yard. Sometimes little frogs, ok more then sometimes it was fun killing frogs with an air pistol.....
  19. Just to pick on ya, looks like the other 3 need to be pulled and cleaned;
  20. Nah he working on your snowflake and carburetor LED lighting.
  21. I want to know where he bought this bb gun that has any kick, now days your lucky to put a dent in something, I remember the bb gun I got from my grandpa gave me I repaired it and wow. My Daisy got all but forgotten Granpa's had a kick to his and it would punch thru plywood!!! Mine would only put a dent and hole in a can. But his pierced the can!!!
  22. well I have had maybe a pack this past week, I usually smoke $35-40 a week... I started taken chantex last month, it says to stop smoking within a week then it says try withing 35 days. The cravings are just about gone, but after coughing up crap everytime I get sick and seeing @cowpuc talk about his ordeal with colapsed lung and playing with some gross black stuff. Pretty close to the brown crap that comes up when I am sick was motivation enuff for me plus a sick sick commercial right before Cowpucs description. Plus cigarettes just jumped another 20cents a pack I can not bring myself to pay premium prices for a pack crappy cigs. I original started smoking marlboro's once they hit 2.00 a pack I moved to cheaper and got GPC said if they ever hit 2 bucks a pack I would quit, well needless to say I kept moving down the scale to cigs I could stand. But a series of events tells me it is not worth paying $3.00 a day to die quicker....
  23. Well 10 days in to having the new box, I had to go to Joplin today. So went out fired Tinker up let her warm a bit, and off I went. Wind was blowing a good 15-25 mph on the way up. I took Gateway Drive up to Joplin also known as Hwy 71 full of curves and hills to the final leg which is straight, BORING!!!! I went most of the trip in 5th gear at around 60-65mph climbing hills twist the throttle and I would start climbing the hill and in the dash with ease even with headwinds. So yet I am curious as to where its getting its advance and its performance curve. On side note not craving a cancer stick like I was at this time yesterday. Had a couple puffs yesterday but so far today I haven't so once I start saving money not buying cigarettes I will start the carburetor rebuild, With all the OEM parts I can get. The reason behind that is because those parts are well a little pricey, and just trying to prove a point to myself and I will bet by this summer in July or so I will have them completely rebuilt with the money I save from not smoking. Now I return you to your regular scheduled programming. Ride Safe Everyone
  24. I have had bone spurs in my foot... They never wanted to remove them? Still got my big a$$ boot too that I had to wear, never any talk about removing them. Also had something called schinn splints, got arthritis in my knees so does my mom, My mom has had one replaced but they litterally wait till your bones are starting to wear down before you qualify for that surgery. Don't know why they will not allow for preventive maintenance but allow for full on replacement parts.
  25. Yeah I been trying to understand where he is at and if his brake pedal is even linked to anything. If it isn't I am wondering where exactly it is froze up at so the only suggestion I can go with is what Clive said at this time and pull it completely off clean it up lube it real good put it back together....
