Hard orings on the drain screw? So far I don't see it leaking after replacing that oring but will keep eye on it. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside. -

Geez talk about not knowing what I was talking about and hardly made sense lol, I hope you know the two screws I am talking about and the fact I left out undo the cables lol. And make a quick Barrel I meant a quick Video.... -
You also have load equalizers if I remember correctly. I tried something different and just traded out the flasher. My bike can go back to the self canceler at anytime just got to plug in old flasher and equalizers. My self canceling unit is either fubar or something else could be going on.... This is why Yamaha has not came out with a new tourer the competition is making them well in advance and allowing customers to ride them.... and must be a darn good mechanic to be able to work on something from 1000 yrs in the future... -

I honestly just undid the two screws and the grip came right off.... and I had seen this before it got dark I would have made a quick barrel to show ya, but its fairly simple, it just depends if there is any rust up in there.... -

My only question is do I have to take off the mufflers to take the tire off? and will it be Ok to put cinder blocks in the trunk to get the front tire off the ground? To get tires off the rebel I just lifted it and put cinder block under frame, I know for a fact I aint doing that with Tinker..... -

Man you all have got to be frigging kidding me, I just got done at my favorite place in Joplin. All I wanted was tires put on my bike and they told me that they can not do it because the bike is more then 10 yrs old.... Also wanted them to run it on there dyno with stock TCI and My regulator rectifier TCI to see where the curves are and they wont even do that.... -

Hey I will be the first to admit I am overweight, However I weighed a whopping 175 when I was put on a drug for high blood pressure called metropropolal within 4 months i had gained over 100lbs.... before I knew it I weighed 338lbs. My Dr I currently have took me off of it and put me on losartan pot. within a month or so I had lost about 50lbs, my feet no longer swelled up like ballons, still have problems with my legs doing some strange things. Matter of fact still trying to get answers about that but I can not believe my previous Dr kept me on meds that was doing that crap to my body, I was pretty much healthy granted I wanted to be at my high school weight of 140 but hell I miss my 175 big time... even tho I have arthritis and degenerative disk disease in my back I bet that kind of weight would be alot better on my body... What I really miss is going to a Dr office and them sitting down with you talking to you, now its kinda like Wam bam, thank you, bye... I am lucky because right now my Dr does do his best to sit down ask how things are going and show real concern for things. But my previous one was Wam Bam....

That looks like the same bridge I parked my patriot at I will see if I can pull the snapshot of the XboxOne, so realistic looking.... O yeah the Patriot is basically a Hummer. I a Grand Theft Auto Fan, It was fun while it lasted. Got tired of playing with kids that shouldn't be playing the game its more of a game for Adults.... Now my only question is Skid are you out by San Andreas because I am thinking it is real place. Is there a lake at one end of this river and the ocean at the other end?

I honestly don't know but it has to be the bowls.... The drain screws seem fine not to mention the carbs are wet above that area... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside. -
thought that sounded kinda high for my side by side, checked it out later and someone put a box on the top shelf right below the ice bin and it was holding the door open. just enuff not to make a seal but appear to be closed and allow the ice and water dispenser to operate.... its 4 degrees today, but over nite it goes into the negatives...

Carbs, why they leaking?
snyper316 replied to snyper316's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
A little update, let the bike sit for 2 days without starting it. Actually kinda forced by the weather, opened the bowl drain screws the ones that appeared to be leaking are bone dry nothing came out, the other two have pretty much maintained there levels, so Bowl gaskets it is just didn't think they would be leaking already as they were replaced last year... But carb was opened several times while I was chasing a crazy miss in the motor.... so fun fun pull the carbs once again I must, dissamble the carbs I must, resync the carbs I must.:bawling:so guess I will be using the gasket set I bought to rebuild the other carbs -

Also that connection where it is soldered gets tugged and such that is part of reason the solders fail.... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside. -
