Small world... Might want to check out his thread and take over where he left off. I need to find a tahoe forum because my truck is making heck of racket when it first started in the morning someone told me knock sensor but I am not the one who will go to auto parts store looking for blinker fluid. Also I got scared when I looked under the hood when I was thinking of buying it took me a week and cross my fingers nothing goes wrong.. Too much tech under there... Ok at this point I am thinking something crazy going on... I filled my truck up but for some reason last 2 tanks I have gotten 11 mpg its knocking when I first start it, the venture had a mysterious leak. The rebel was getting a measly 71 miles to tank of gas.... And everyone and there brother been having carb problems... Now I would expect 12 miles to a gallon in town from a 5.3 vortech but I haven't been driving it in town... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.

Dang that's alto of weight maybe ill get the kids there sand they want, the shop charges more if I bring my own tires.. Now if I go to dealer they will do it for 50 for both and that is the only way they will touch it... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside. -
That is crazy I know Russia is pretty cold so is Canada though Alaska had ice roads and in parts you had to depend on a train to take you in and out of town. And bush pilots or is TV showing me what they want me to think, what next voices in my head..... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.

I have always gotten something and put it in my name right away... However new laws and regulations do not allow me to do this. I have to take it to inspection station and get an inspection before I can even get a title put in my name..... so due to this I am sitting on a bike that I have to fix before I can register it..... top that they charge $50 a month in title penalties now and up to $400. This is what I was told by someone but haven't verified it used to be $25 a month and up to $200 max.... needless to say this bike is gonna cost me aditionally because I have to wait on parts. and until I have went thru it completely I wont know if I need anymore parts. Right now I am working on the tripple tree I lost the bearings and noone could get the part before My first 30 days is up.... Wished bearucrats would leave well enuff alone... -

Back to drawing board but I am almost betting on bad bowl gasket if not the rear bowl drain, this will be the first time pulling carbs with both cables hooked up but think I will try @cowpuc suggestion I am just tired of pulling them.... Hard orings on the drain screw? So far I don't see it leaking after replacing that oring but will keep eye on it. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside. -

Geez talk about not knowing what I was talking about and hardly made sense lol, I hope you know the two screws I am talking about and the fact I left out undo the cables lol. And make a quick Barrel I meant a quick Video.... -
You also have load equalizers if I remember correctly. I tried something different and just traded out the flasher. My bike can go back to the self canceler at anytime just got to plug in old flasher and equalizers. My self canceling unit is either fubar or something else could be going on.... This is why Yamaha has not came out with a new tourer the competition is making them well in advance and allowing customers to ride them.... and must be a darn good mechanic to be able to work on something from 1000 yrs in the future... -

I honestly just undid the two screws and the grip came right off.... and I had seen this before it got dark I would have made a quick barrel to show ya, but its fairly simple, it just depends if there is any rust up in there.... -

My only question is do I have to take off the mufflers to take the tire off? and will it be Ok to put cinder blocks in the trunk to get the front tire off the ground? To get tires off the rebel I just lifted it and put cinder block under frame, I know for a fact I aint doing that with Tinker..... -

Well the only damned reason I went there in the first place is cause the other shop can't get to the tires for another 3 weeks, So I am gonna try my hand at removing them can't be no difficult then the Rebel Can it?
