Wait, so your telling me I need to slow down in order to get good gas mileage? I always find myself creeping up to 70+, I only put into 5th when I hit about 65. I have only seen about 34mpg on a nice calm day, I guess I will try it at 55mph next time but I bet I can't drive 55:guitarist 2:

Like someone said you can get alot of different mounts, lengths, cupholders, gps mounts, even a flex pole, the possibilities with these are endless it seems, even can get gopro mounts.

I got a RAM mount two weeks ago and I love it... It opens up pretty wide and I have been on some pretty bumpy roads recently and does not seem to phase it any.. it also comes with a safety band to secure what is ever in the mount. Really nice ran me I think $50-$60.

snyper316 replied to Brenda H's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Hey Brenda do you have an ace hardware store in your area, the guys at mine are real helpful in helping me look for the bolts I need. And that is all crazy one of those fuses is a spare fuse also. Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside. -
Hell the Tahoe is the first vehicle that I have owned that hold 6 quarts at oil change now if the engine was completely bone dry I think is more like 10 I believe all the rest of my vehicles I have had only take a gallon after an oil change.... I was thinking a Goldwing but I don't think they could hold 6 quarts either. I am pretty sure he was talking about a specific bike but it wasn't Goldwing. I almost want to say Victory but not 100% certain.

Might be a pretty penny but I have seen one when I was up in Joplin guy stopped at a stoplight and these wheels came out and held the bike up and when he took off they went back up.... Looked like a Wing but not sure my eyes aren't that great. Could have been a BMW I seen one of those at Walmart and talked to the guy after I watched him stop and the rear lift up, Hydrallic center stand so I teasingly asked does it have reverse too:doh: It sure does lol. Nice looking Bike He told me it was made for an old man so then I asked if it had wheels to that would come down he said no but he had seen those also.

I really wasn't meaning to ... Anyways with the way sounds carry maybe old joe was half deaf...... I knew a guy like that who was half deaf and could centralize a sound, he is gone now but he was a good mechanic. He had built alot of screaming cars back in the day before people worried about hearing protection probably contributed to him being in tune with cars. But back to the TOPIC when you picking up the bike?

Why not get a tri-wing? I will admit don't much care for the looks of the Honda's but My friend Barb and her husband have got a gold wing trike its pretty sharp. I like the fact the passenger has actual arm rest and cubby and cupholder. Not sure if it has heated seats but I think its nice looking as a trike...

Eureka springs? Where dat at... I want to go to hot springs.. Might do my back and knees good going there and sitting in them. But hey they bring that I would probably be able to make that. If I had a wing I would put the venture front on it.... Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.

I can't even find the engine under the hood!!! This is why I wanted spare vehicle just in case I needed to put it in the shop.... Hopefully it hold out till next tax season mechanics want 80-120 an hour. Forgot to mention no engine code. Cam bearing? Wouldn't that be bottom end? Living life one curve after the other. Carbs, why they leaking?
snyper316 replied to snyper316's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Ok OK I give I pulled the carburetors today. PITA to get the push cable removed. Needless to say @rbig1 suggested maybe a scratch in the float needle. Well low and behold I pulled the needle out and was looking at under sunlight and noticed a ring around mid section of the point and another scratch going diagonally , I haven't put them back on yet but replaced the bowl drain oring and bowl gasket. wet checked float levels and they are the same level. So after I eat lunch I will put them back on and cross my fingers I can get the push cable back in where it goes.... -

Lol you guys are 👿 yeah it is more of a knocking noise. I almost, I have had rods knocking b4 that noise don't go away this one does after about 3-5 minutes. I just changed the oil less then 2000 miles ago.... Didn't see any sparkles in the oil... Ha I am currently trying to get ahead of @Yammer Dan but due to noise may turn around and go 🏡.
