That is your carb drain, I believe those do pull out. I have taken mine off but that was on my play carb which I no longer have. But if that is leaking more then likely your drain screw is cruded up. That screw will be on the front side of that drain. So undo the screw on the other side of it there should be an oring on that screw too.

It is too short, I will take the valve out of mine and take a picture of them side by side. I ordered them 4/13/2017 got them today so 6 days is not bad for international shipping I also paid the higher shipping rate. But even with all that it says somewhere in there that the orders could take 21 days to get to your door. But here is a couple of pictures of my 83 carbs, I do wonder because I have the housing for the valves if they could be switched out. But I still don't know how to get the bowl valve and seat out.

Try boogying down the road and getting the bright idea to kick on the Texas Star and key up. IN a car with Throttle body fuel injection it was a 88 ford tempo. I was kicking down the road at 55 and keyed up and the car started acting up, just thought bad gas 2 days later it just wasnt running right so took it in had them plug it in and the guy told me the computer in it was dead. Don't know how but I still drove it till it just would not start about a month later, haven't run cbs since. Afraid to, specially with all the electronics in cars, not to mention just about everyone and there brother own a cell phone and no longer play with CB's. -
Ok I actually ordered this kit, but once again the float valve don't fit, but I like what all comes in the kits. new mixture screw with spring, washer, and oring. new drain screw with oring, this one is slotted not phillips I put it in one of the carbs that desperetly need one. The last set of carsb I got one of the mixture screws is buggered up. 8 screws to replace the existing screws. or in case you have parked near @cowpuc and he snagged one. the brass washer and screw for the jet block. The gaskets for the enrichment valve and the jet block feels and looks kind of like a rubber substance of some sort, the one I got from K&N definatley a different matterial from what I can tell this kit is not a bad deal. O and the spring for inside your slid underneath the plastic screw.

1998 I paids $38 a month for insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, see a Dr $10.00 prescrips 5.00. Dental copay depended what you had done never had to pay for cleanings. Eye Dr 100% paid. Good ol Days. It was probably more because TTI it was some deal we only paid a fraction of the cost, Too long ago to remember. Hard to believe that was 20 yrs ago almost. After reading @cowpuc post I kind of chuckled because step dad did take early Retirment. I am thinking if he had known he probably gotten full retirement, his biggest issue tho he didn't have insurance and seen these sliding scale doctors. Not nearly what you have going on but, I am thinking he could have due to several factors in his health altho he will never admit it.

Antenna issue

Um cant be that bad of a look, I had dual whips on a Nissan/Datsun Pick up. Had one 102" on my 3 wheeler not really sure why it was there but there was a bracket on the handlebars that probably held a cb at one time. Side note I have jerry rigged cb antenna's for my radios and got alot better reception. I believe the K504 I think they were called actually knocked out the Electronic noise in my stereo from the Car engine running. I miss running skip that was loads of fun. I most of the time did it barefoot too. Sometimes I would kick on my Texas Star but only when I was down in a hollar. -

Lol well.... I done got everything back together and I didnt realize that was there probably cause there is a floorboard in the way... So on to the next issue. I have been bleeding the rear pedal for 2 hours now. My arms are feeling the burn:Avatars_Gee_George: so I shut everything up, gonna retry in the morning. I was trying to find the bleeder around the stem. Evedently that is in MKII thing. I may ride it out to my buddies house tomorrow and have him push the pedal for me. The rear brake is easy but I think I will be using up all my brake fluid just to get the pedal all bleed out. I don't even know how air got in there in the first place. All I did was remove the rear wheel to get the stuff all lubed up, I had to reach thru a glob of grease to pull out the drive shaft. I guess they didn't think about greasing up the front of it at all... Anyways I am going to bed if my brain will let me. My only problem when I know I have unfinished busisness its hard to sleep. -
My bad, that is about the same as she would be paying if she insured us all. They also have a thing called in Network and out of Network. Her in Networks are Dr.s we have never heard of. The Dr she uses is completely out of the Network they take her insurance but her insurance refused to pay. Sorry I miss read what you were saying. But even still I know someone right now that is what they pay actually he pays closer to 4,000 for him and his wife. But they also own a gas station, Taxi service, He is city Council, and his wife also drives a bus in the afternoons.

Ok today I went ahead and pulled the wheel back and greased everything. Now here is the silly question I have when I pulled the wheel down there was glob of grease in the spot where that zerk goes in. I kind of spread that all around pulled the drive line out and greased up in there. Put it all back together, but never did find this hole I could look thru to see when I had the line lined up with the ujoint. I went by feel and had it in gear to know when I had it in where it was supposed to go. But got all that done and its all back together now. Gear oil is changed out now but does that crap stink!!! -
Heck I am trying to figure out why there is such a big gap in premiums on insurance. I thought we were being robbed on one person paying $230 a month. She had to go to Dr recently and we had to pay for the visit out of pocket. 68 for office visit and 15 for UA. And 12 for a 23 dollar prescription. So from now on I will be thinking of the people who may or may not make more money paying way way more then me. I about fell over when @Freebird said how much he paid. I think that is plumb ridicoulous, sad thing is it isn't the first time I have heard something like that!!

Lost me thought it was an electric car. So does it use gas too? I was next to a car the other day but every light he was by me you could hear the starter or something crank as he moved forward and then engine kicked on.. "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly." -

Not trying to knock it or nothing but how long do you have to recharge every 60-90 miles? -
I have the same lights on my bike only I went with bluish halo and I can switch them from bright dim and pulsing. I can also switch out a wire on them where they are red in color, kind of like show light I guess. the beam on the fence is from the spotlight fog light. I have my aimed outward for getting light in the ditch side of the road. Trying to drive for them reindeer. They work somewhat. I have seen the 4 led lights thinking about trying those out to see which I like better. I would like to know where you found the white halo tho. when i got mine all I could find was Red big no no Orange/amber, and the blue.
