  1. Can anyone tell me how to get ahold of Damon, I'm working on my spare carburetors. And may be purchasing a spare engine after I get the carbs done. "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  2. A Class C no longer required? I know there was no special test for those one camper trailers that were like 10 foot long. But I could have swore we needed Class C for 14 foot or longer at least that is what I understood anyways. Now that you point that out that is kind of scary because alot of people don't understand the off tracking of trailers let alone the vehicle there driving...
  3. My fan generally kicks on within 10-15minutes. Now If I am riding it maybe a few miles, and it generally stays on once it kicks on I believe I really haven't paid attention to it. Plus it is pretty quiet In my opinion. At least to a cars electric fan, I couldn't hear my mustangs kick in after I got dual exhaust installed. I do know when the bike is idling I hear a relay kick it on and can hear the fan hum just a bit...
  4. Mine is the same on there cpt it is spelled snyp3r316, I think I am gonna go check mine because I really don't remember what I had on there...
  5. What is your xbox name so I know who to put hits out on I have like 2cagillion dollars on that game.... it was mainly shark cards then I grinded races and missions out... I can't think of the one mission but its not far from one of Los Santos customs in a building where you get some files, then there was another that involved a big heli... out by the windfarm... Na I just kidding, but that caught my eye I loved GTA5 till everytime I went to my garage I got blown up...
  6. Ground wire came lose or just lost ground... "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  7. Take the Fairing off alot easier and you will see them both on the left side about underneath where the windshield mounts
  8. OK your stock flasher if you flip it upside down and look on it, it has B+, L, C. Take note of where C would plug in on your connector, This is the one that runs to the Cancelling unit. I had to change it to ground, Because the regular normal flasher have either 2 prongs or 3 prongs, the one I gave you the part number to has 3 prongs. You will see B+ L and G - I can not remember exactly how it is as its undereath my fairing so I am going off of memory, so basically you have to create a ground for the new flasher as the cancelling unit will not work as a ground.....
  9. I think I need to go check the driveway. See if Tinker is still out there :stickpoke:because basically sounds exactly like the same problems I had. The canceling unit only worked when it wanted too..
  10. You have to also create an element between the ground wire and the turn signal wire, Crossing them with the resistor... If you give up on that then get an ep36 flasher from autozone or oreily. The side of your stock flasher that says C is the wire going to your counselor, What I did here is cut the wire 2-3 inches from the plug. took the plug side and ran a ground wire to it no not have the stock flasher plugged in. Plug in the EP 36 flasher and you will not need the resistors... this in turn takes away your cancelling unit. Basically all mine is reversible essentially. As I was just running a test on this. I just haven't went back to stock.
  11. Do you have Four resistors and if you replaced the dash lights do you have a resistor up there too? I am glad to know I am not the only one that has this issue with the 83 circuitry. But they will blink very slowly with all 4 resistors...
  12. That is the yics chambers on 83-85 ppl either plug the ports or seal it back up but that is the cheapest I have ever seen those. "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  13. Well sorry for hijacking you Casey but here is a good one I don't know if it has anything to do with it but, I think someone was thinking right shaft drive. But the tire is rotating backwards. "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  14. Well there is half an inch between brake bracket and swing arm. The grease well thats when my problem started when I took the wheel back off to do all that... So I didn't properly reassemble it. Just an adjustment and I should be good to go. I keep referring to the washer being sandwiched between brake bracket and Swingarm. So I assembled something wrong, its easy to do when You aren't paying attention. I believe I tightened the pinch bolt last and I think your supposed to do that first.
  15. well basically I am trying to find proper placement of the rear axle all the washers are in the respective places, I can't remember if the washer was sandwiched between the swing arm and the brake mount, The wobble I feel is coming from the back, or if it isn't then I was crazy for taking my hands off the bars... I did this around 55 just to see what would happen. I still can't get my cruise to work correctly I set it at 60 and up hills it would go all the way down to 55 going up and then 65 going down. So when you set yours at 70 does it stay at 70 or will it go to 80 going down a hill? O wait... Mine is a silver mechanism yours is electronic.
  16. Yep most your fuel is going out the exaust maybe.... Lol I have a habit of not riding like that, But today I did. I was in no hurry heck I didn't even know where I was going. I just let tinker lead the way, Now this may sound a little strange tho, I would get to around 70-75 and would feel a bit of wobble. I am not sure if this was in the road, maybe I have something out of alignment when I put the tires back on. But I did have wind blowing at my side and the road this happend on was asphalt. But was noticeable on a concrete stretch with those grooves/lines at around 60. Do I need the Washer smashed between the brake holder and the swing arm? If so that is more then likely my problem.
  17. Wouldnt all the relays be the same up there? I am thinking I swapped mine around at one time trying to see if I got the same results.
  18. What state are you in, I thought Missouri was the only state that did safety inspections..... They never even checked that on the bikes I took in. But I do agree those do need to work because it kind of stinks taken off and forgetting your kickstand is still down...
  19. I am cheapskate, bought $80.00 phone 16gb internal memory and 16gb expandable memory. I use Pandora for internet radio, and Napster already a member of it before Pandora went to subscription based, I can't think what napster was called before hand its been that long.... I download to external for music I really like and use about 10gbs, I highly doubt I will ever listen to it all on a single trip as it is about 3 days of music. But most of the time I use Pandora for music outside of downloads. Napster Radio for some reason cuts out on me, *Buffering*. Freebird where on earth you ever gonna use that much space on a phone? I had no Idea them phones got up to that much memory now. Top that I installed a Bluetooth Radio, that has slot for USB sticks, and an auxillary port AM/Fm Radio. No CD players cpt on computers...
  20. @CaseyJ955 I went to Springfield and back on hwy 60 it has 60-65 mph speed limit with rolling hills and 10-15mph hour breeze to the northeast. I finally got 40mpg, but I only hit 70mph tops mainly stayed between 60 and 65mph. Hope that helps lol I know it isn't what you want to hear... So I guess if I want to stretch the fuel economy I will sit back and take in the fresh air and enjoy the scenery. "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  21. Lol not the boat.... Tinker I bet that boat might get 15mpg "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  22. I did it i did it 65 miles refilled tank with 1.6 gallons "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  23. Ok so I fibbed I went to Springfield basspro shop "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly."
  24. Hey Earl got a question for you. Your pictures do not show the little washers all my carbs have on them. I have 12 Ok so I take that back 11 have the washer, I discovered one missing last night on my carbs on the bike. Would I use the shims with the little washers I have in my bike?
  25. Yeah well not sure if its a bike in general that does it, The Rebel sometimes I had to shut it off to get it into neutral. Tinker sometimes I have to rock her a little bit to get her into neutral so all i can suggest is trying rocking it back and forth and push down on shifter. You might also want to try and go up. Just in case it is actually in first gear. Sometimes they may be a bit tricky to get it there in neutral sometimes I have had to shut Tinker down to get her to go into neutral. Seems like it always happens at the gas pump...
