Apparently I've developed many bad habits over the years
snyper316 replied to SilvrT's topic in Watering Hole
I will say both are fun on a bike!! I have been known to hold left about 2-4 times just for the fun of it on roundabouts... These crazy things they say 20 and tinkers speed says 45-50 in second its a blast as long as you don't have people coming at you head on which I have done twice myself when these are in places that they didmt used to be!!! At 3 in da morning.... "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly." -

Huh yield? I thought you drove out in them and went in circles. I kid you not the first time I seen one I literally had no clue. Another one that got me is this new diamond thing in Joplin you literally swap sides of the road. Which I didn't realize and I still get fumbled up on it specially coming off interstate. "Never ride faster then your guardian angel can fly." -
I don't think many are located in this Fourstate Area I live in, I live just south of Joplin and about 30-45 minutes from Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma.. We are having a Blessing of the Bikes come Sunday and as long as My BG stays down and the rain stays up I will be there. Hopefully we don't get rained out... Hopefully I will get to see some awesome trikes, and even awesomer Ventures.

LED lights on Tweeksis - she's an adorable 83 if that matters..
snyper316 replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
As I said a dark alley, well Tinker and me didn't care for it as it was wet, muddy and slick. So I rode out by my buddies house and pulled off the side of the road, here is a car passing best I could do for side by side comparison, keep in mind I have only one light. This is dim it has 6 leds lit up This on dim Did the best I could here but off to my left on the road is a car about lined up with me, I have my light aimed down a little more just so I don't blind someone coming at me. -

WELL on second thought find some Beef Frank stickers and ballpark stickers.. Maybe by episode 2 !! -

It will blind you when you look at the bike even in the daytime, But yes a heck of alot better then the stock did, Even with Led in mine it did better then stock it just would not aim right, Basically seemed I was just brightening the space I could already see. So was chatting with Bongo and Fool one night and fool said something along the lines of the light will probably not work right unless it was in housing made for LED So i got this light, interesting enuff I could not get it to seat all the way back just trying to figure out a way to maybe rig an actual pan in there for the light and still allow me to adjust it, as of right now I have it modified enuff to be able to adjust. But it was also supposedly a 5x7 light.. But to answer your question on a very dark road out in the country it does its best work even on low beams. I just used the plug off the RLU and cut it about an inch from the plug and twisted the wire together, sodered it and heat shrink tubed it. Plugged it in to the existing plug and had my jumper plus if I chose to I would just go back to stock.. If it isn't raining tonight and is dry I will go down the dark alley across the street and get a couple pictures. -

Well schucks guess I owe you $60, Can I get half off on that because I was laughing so hard thru it that I missed half of what you were intructing... I got a kick out of it. I think that trainer would look cool with those rolled up type leather pouches one on each side and then one hanging on the handle bars, But where is Tippy gonna sit? -

All I got to say it was a pain for me, But well worth it I can see just as good as I do with my Tahoe. If his lights will fit right in there I will be kicking myself because I did some modifying to get my headlight to fit. I still have the stock bulb with the LED in it but I wanted to try a headlight that was made for LED. -
Woohoo Time to go sit on the Dock of the Bay, Sorry I got sidetracked on the post. Have Fun!!

Yeah that.... I had a permit for 3 yrs, no restrictions. I took the test on a 150cc scooter, Glad I did there is no way I could have passed on the venture!!! I have taken it to there tiny course and started at the line where they want you to WOT it, then when you get your front tire over the next line you are to slam on the brakes and will not be docked for skidding. The first time I failed at this on the scooter so that is what I was using as judgement, I managed to get stopped about 2 foot farther then I did on the scooter the first time. Then I tried cowpucs schooling for riding slow, did that pretty well but I crossed the corner marking with front tire, second attempt I would have smashed the cone had it been there where they had it. The course is all marked out but there is just no way what so ever could you do it on the ventures, wonder if they would believe it was a Trike. -

This has got me very curious, that was another thing I had changed because I knew I would be running the fuel right thru, I put in the cheaper gas in Republic, and rode home and stopped at The gas station here in town and reupped to check mileage. Nah can't be wouldn't make any sense putting 87 octane in and getting the 40mpg..... But it has got some wheels turning in my head and smoke coming from my ears!! -
