I wonder if thats why my car engine blew up in my Crysler Lebaron. I used the oil all the time, seen something on news about Dollar general oil not meant for cars.... Living in Gerald Missouri at the time when I had a few cars and ran Dollar General oil in them never thought anything about it. I do remember something about Detergent and Non Detergent Oil which I never see in bold on front of Oil tho really haven't been looking either. I bet the gallon jugs are even cheaper:pushups:

After something like that I would have had to take nearest exit to a Dollar General for clothes then to nearest truck stop for a shower!!! You had someone looking after you.

Have fun on your trip. If you go thru Joplin give me a shout out. I now live just off of route 66... all this time I never realized the route of root 66 lol. Gps told me the other day... I knew it went thru Joplin because of the song but always thought it was the outer road and come to find out that road don't really work as outer road.... it goes smack dab thru downtown Joplin...

Tamato vs tomato basically same thing. They are transistor controlled ignition in our bikes I believe cdi means capacitor discharge ignition.. Open ground could be checked by the black and white wire I believe I could be mistaken. .... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk -

Lol I feel like I been ran over by all my stuff.. I have that TCI box in a box all wrapped up and in my saddlebags. I also did not know you could get plug and play boxes from igniteck. I was kinda referring to is one guys pain may be another's gain... Moving when not planned is a PITA, so that being said I could extra $$$$ right now. Just debating on what to do. You know my pain in moving may end up being your best friend the reason I'm trying to hang on to my box. I went with regulatorrectifier box so far it has been really good to me but if I need the box adjusted and well I won't have bike to ride till it comes back... I paid 75 for the box..... But I have 3 yr warranty on new box.... Since 🔨 and 🐄puc have loaned there's out you might be able to twist my arm.... Search the part number on eBay? Be careful tho there has been couple times that they listed a cruise module as TCI or CDI box.. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk -

Has anyone carried a Gen 1 in the bed of a pick-up?

Well only issue we had one time my step dad had to rescue me because my Tripple A wouldn't cover a tow and we put it in the back of his Ford Edge so he backed up to some steps that just happened to be perfect size and height that I could drive straight into the back of his truck. Did not think of the weight on the back of his truck he ended up dragging off the step below the bumper. Kind of a chalkboard sound you know makes you cringe. But when we got back to town I had him back his truck up to a hill a couple blocks from my house that almost was perfect except for the tail gate was about 12 inches from the edge of the hill so that made it a little scary. With my step dad pushing back I managed where I couldn't touch basically when we got the rear tire back enough that his truck lifted some is where it got hairy. It worked pretty well tho, his truck bed was not that long I am thinking the rear tire was on his tail gate and wanting to say his bed was 6.5 feet also maybe 7 feet not sure the edge is kind of like a ford ranger. -
Been holding back all day, but I just gotta tell it now.

I was next to Harley at stop light and I just don't see how the motors don't jump off the frame the way they shake.... Back to topic I am so sick of being asked when am I going to buy a real bike. I just give them same answer I have one and she gets and goes. Why would I want anything else.... Right now she is mad at me because I haven't put her cleaned and rebuilt carbs on her. She just a back talked away today so had to put her up but before I did I had 10 people tell me that they liked my bike, either nice bike, cool bike etc.... So stick that in your exaust pipes Harley. Think the guy on the harley at the pump behind me was peturbed when a kid said how awesome my bike was and he said something along the lines of its not Harley. The kid told him those are all the same lmao... This is true story kid even asked what I paid for mine... told him I didn't even know no more but it was well worth it -

Well 3 month update, I still have not smoked.... ok as far as the TCI box from regulatorrectifier.com It is now underneath my glove box or beside it on the inner fairing been running with it there for quite sometime. As of right now my drive way has caused my exaust to leak where it goes into the collector on the back side, so got a lovely popping noise going on. For the most part I think for someone just needing a plug and play box this would be the best way to go, unless they were upgrading to COPS and such. I am happy with it now to just put in my spare set of carbs that will be my next project but right now I have just been too busy trying to find a place to move, CTFWing I am right at 1,200 miles on the Kenda Kruz and they are doing me wonders to. Of course I have chicken strips on them because there really isn't much for good curves where I ride but I have laid over on Tinker a few times going into some turns and very few curves, I am impressed by the way they feel. I do think I did hear a slight hum last night at around 75-80 but I am gonna attribute that to the Tread on the tires still. Also found out today in the truck where I was experiencing the weeve I was having some fun in the Tahoe with that same issue trying to hold it in my lane without moving the wheel to keep it straight.... just glad I don't have a donut or else I would have had some real fun. Well I guess I will dig this up in another 6 months but I am going to assume this box is still gonna be performing up to par. On side note I am real glad I had the led in my bike the other night seen 4 deer in seperate spots along side the road and one took that leap, if I had not had them lights I would have had a deer in my lap or been bikejacked by a deer.....
